I think this is really good in control warrior. You can combo it with Harrison to draw three cards on top of the weapon and you don't care about giving your opponent armor. Plus even without combo potential or overwriting your opponent's weapon, giving your opponent a coghammer is more or less irrelevant because you don't have small minions for them to kill and you just gained 6 armor to counteract them hitting you in the face with it.

Deck_Fiend posted a message on New Rogue Spell - Necrium VialPosted in: Card DiscussionI think the whole Preparation dependency with Rogue in general limits the design space. Yes, this card with Preparation is good for 2 mana, however, you now need 3 cards to make it look decent: A deathrattle minion, this and Preparation.
I almost feel like this is a chicken/egg problem: Because Preparation exists, Rogue spells have the tendency to cost more in a vacuum.
I can see this being useful in a Carnivorous Cube deck which I believe has yet to surface in Standard.
maybe they need to get rid of prep? I mean prep is great, but if it really does hinder design space then I think we'd be better off getting rid of it and starting over.
Of course this would ruin a ton of decks so not going to happen.. they might hall of fame it eventually though if this really is the case. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

I sense Paladin tears.

Turn 1: Biology Project into Wild Growth
Turn 2: Nourish
Turn 3: 8 mana shenanigans

Mana cost kills this card IMHO. Curve-wise I guess you could put this on a Nightmare Amalgam but you could do so much more for 4 mana. This is not something I would want to draw in the late game, either.

Weaponized Pinata is happy.
