it is not missing those cards, since those are not ashes of outland cards. the 2 cards you mention here are from the initiate set, which consists of 20 cards, and the other 10 cards that are missing are from the demon hunter basic set.

Red1 posted a message on New Classic Priest Legendary: Natalie SelinePosted in: Card DiscussionI've played it only in 6-7 games and admittedly it's been clunky at times BUT I have found a solid use for it in every match that went past turn 8. All in all if you're on a budget and lacking the essentials I'd craft those first, but if you've got the dust and enjoy priest I recommend it. I instacrafted all the priest cards right out the gate and haven't regretted it in test runs thus far. Cheers

Mackie264 posted a message on Beastmaster Leoroxx looks a like a bit too muchPosted in: General DiscussionDo you guys remember Kathrena Winterwisp? By herself she spawned the big beast archetype right after cubelock was nerfed (maybe the deck became a thing with fully powered cubelock, can't remember exactly) and she was balanced by the fact that you could only run big beasts as you didn't want to pull a small one out of your deck and also by the fact that drawing your beasts was bad as she wouldn't summon anything.
Beastmaster Leoroxx seems like a way better Kathrena in a lot of scenarios and a bad Kathrena in some scenarios, here's what I mean:
- Kathrena's pros over Leoroxx: You were 'guaranteed' to pull a big beast (as you only had big beasts on your deck) which meant she was always a high roll and an insane pile of stats unless you had every single beast on your hand. Just 1 pro KEKW
- Cons of Kathrena: You could only run big beasts so you needed to look for alternatives for the early game. Also drawing these big beasts was terrible as you never wanted to play them from hand and they clogged it. She can be silenced to negate the floating value.
- Leoroxx pros over Kathrena (They are so many I'll make a list for them)
1. Your deck building is not restrictive; while you have to run big beast to get more out of this card, you're not forced to only run big beasts.
2. 5/5 are worth like 4.5 mana so if your beasts pulls are worth at least 3.5 mana then you're already getting more than you paid for, which means that even if you pulled like a single Savannah Highmane and nothing else, you're already winning, even if you pulled other 2 cheap beasts that's already a win.
3. You can set up your hand in order to get whatever you want on the board. If you want to guarantee your King Krush being pull is honestly not hard at all to set up, specially if you either run other cheap beasts and a couple of big ones or if you're running only a few select big beasts (which I think is not the correct type of deck for this guy)
4. If you pull a Tundra Rhino then your other beasts will have charge. While I probably the first thing that comes to mind when you see this card is pulling 3 gigantic beasts, pulling 2 mid sized beast + a Rhino is still very solid, i mean let's say you pulled cards no one plays like Stranglethorn Tiger and Wasteland Scorpidm eveb such bad beasts are incredible with this cards and even better if the 3rd one was a rhino.
5. Octosari is a beast by the way lol. This one can be bad from time to time but even if you get an 8/8 that draws you like 5 cards and burns the others for 8 mana + a 5/5 and any other beast(s) Leoroxx might pull, it's still insane, hunter hands are often pretty empty anyways and you could be getting rid of up to 4 cards with Leoroxx so that empties it even further.
This card just seems too powerful with only the beasts that we know will stay on standard, we'll have to see what other big beast will blizzard print for this expansion, just with the few interactions I mentioned it seems insane:
- Pulling King Krush by itself or with any other beasts is already solid
- Pulling any set of 2 or 3 big beasts that are considered bad to see play but are insane if you pull them this way
- Anything mid sized + Rhino
- Octosari to get a huge beast and refill your hand
Also you can achieve your dream of running brann and this in your highlander hunter to get double King Krush power KEKW. Memes aside it doesn't seem so crazy to run this + highmane + krush and some other beast in your highlander hunter (only this 3 beasts even) cause it would be a disgusting tempo swing on 8.

Megameth posted a message on Custom Expansion - Call of the Ocean (DONE!)Posted in: Fan CreationsCALL OF THE OCEAN!
The deep sea is the biggest unknown of Azeroth, and mortals fear the unknown. For this reason, the seas were left mostly untouched by Azeroth's denizens for millenia. And now, we are going on an expedition into the ocean! Brace yourselves, for we'll discover hidden places unbeknownst to men for thousands of years, race against Elemental waves, Pirates, Murlocs and various Beasts, face eldritch horrors, and most importantly, find treasure!
The sea floor hosts many dangerous predators and mysterious creatures. Some of them are Submerged in deep waters, and may Resurface for different effects!
On Submerge/Resurface:
Submerge/Resurface works in a very simple way and they complete one another. When you play a minion with these effects, you will get a panel similar to Choose One. If the Resurface option is chosen, it will function exactly like a Battlecry, except for triggering Battlecry related stuff. If you choose Submerge, the minion will instead go dormant a la The Darkness and trigger its Submerge effect at the end of your turns, unless it's stated otherwise (for example, an aura effect). You can switch between these two modes by clicking on the minion in your turn if it has an unspent attack. So, if you played a minion and activated its Resurface to get an instant effect, instead of attacking with it next turn, you can Submerge it, and vice versa.
For example, you can play Bleakwater Ambusher as a 3/7 with Rush, or let it Submerge and wait for a turn to Resurface it as a 6/7 or maybe even a 9/7 or 12/7 if you're patient enough. Or maybe, after it attacked, you can let it go to hiding and attack later with it, even stronger than before!
Many residents of the ocean have some form of defense mechanism against the spellcasters of Azeroth. They utilize the waters to their full advantage, making them Evasive. These minions can't be targeted by spells or Hero Powers.
The depths have many different habitats, and when they hit the board, their effect continues for several turns. All classes get a spell that have a persistent effect for multiple turns.
All kinds of minions roam the seas, be it a Pirate, Murloc, Beast, or even Mech. Most types will get immense support cards to boot.
Call of the Ocean has 135 cards. Each class gets two Legendary cards and one class gets a new Hero Card. However, that's not all, as after I reveal all of the cards, there will be an Adventure with PvE encounters and even more collectible cards, with five more neutral Legendaries!
DRUID (10/10)
HUNTER (10/10)
MAGE (10/10)
PALADIN (10/10)
PRIEST (10/10)
ROGUE (10/10)
SHAMAN (10/10)
WARLOCK (10/10)
WARRIOR (10/10)
NEUTRAL (45/45)
TOKENS
Kisigar's Devolved Hero Powers
I hope you like the expansion! I'd really appreciate if you give some feedback. Stay tuned for more updates and reveals. Take care, and surrender yourself to the Call of the Ocean!

Oh and The Fist of Ra-den is so trash... I think we can say that now.

Lanko posted a message on Should I dust this golden legendPosted in: Players and Teams DiscussionDon't craft Luna's Pocket Galaxy, it's gonna rotate in ~2 months.
Subject 9 is fine, as it will also rotate in April.
Dragonbane will remain until 2021 though, and it's being performing really well lately. It's a strong card. Unless you have no interest in Hunter whatsoever, you should at least keep it until 2021.

Tried out this deck, there may be something here but this incarnation gets absolutely smoked by aggro at the moment. As pretty much any combo / off-meta deck right now.

This is so disappointing. 10 mana for this garbage? Yikes.

Do you think the OP is "filled with hate", is frustrated, or that he is responding to a "stimulus that evokes the memory of a traumatic event or episode"? Really? He seemed pretty calm to me.
Saying one objectively doesn't like something does not mean you have some sort of extreme, hate filled emotional response to it. Just like not everyone who disagrees with you is a "snowflake" to use another stupid term. If you find the discussion trivial you don't have to add to the thread, but this forum is for a discussion of all things Hearthstone including cards and their flavour .
Looking forward to some more stupid GoT gifs!

I don’t think the word triggered means what you think it means...

OP I agree with you. Such a stupid card. And why does he have lifesteal? I know Pally has heal cards but it doesn’t make sense with the incredibly lame flavour. Haven’t seen a card this cringe worthy since skater bot.

I've also noticed a ridiculous amount of poor behaviour of late, not sure why. Annoying but what can you do.
1
Yup. You got a ton right imo - looks like Galakrond Warlock is a bit better than you thought and were off in regards to Goru and Veranus but overall bang on predictions. Very impressive!
1
I know right? Seems like a pretty massive oversight.

I thought they might nerf quest shaman not due it being op but simply due to the fact that so many were playing it (20%). Last time there were this many players playing once class they nerfed multiple shaman cards.
Now the issue isn't really quest shaman, the top decks in the game are either Galakrond Shaman or Galakron Overload Shaman, both with an insane win rate. And even more shaman players than before. As someone who enjoys shaman (it's my only golden hero) I agree it's time to balance this.

Thanks for your hard work SlydE, this is and always will be my favourite thread on this board.
