Honestly I don't really have a favorite, they are all kinda equal. LemonLock >= Tempo Pala = Fatigue Dk Jaina = Stalking memes >= Mill rogue- not fun to play against, but I found its milling method to be rather creative = Dead Man's Giants = Randuin wrynn >= Ramp druid = token shaman.
I won't rate the expansion until they fix Jade Druid. My reasoning is that if expansion is like a book, jade is like the liquid you accidentally knocked over and spilled on the book, ruining it.
Yeah I have argee jade Druid has limited creative deck design for more fun or interesting deck to pop out as of now
Well imagine you had buff cards it would mean you need to buff almost more than 5 classes card individually each expansion and would need to revamp either slightly better or completely different and would need more play testing and possibilities of it getting neft due to overbufing is there .
it would cost too much time and be annoying down the line. this isn't a game like dota were you can buff or neft something because it isn't a game where does only 40 cards in a manageable state it's a game with thousand of cards if you were try to evenly balance out very single individual card it would take forever and is meaningless because you would need to rebalance every single god damn card each expansion
it just feel like it's a waste of time rather than just making a better card altogether
Edit plus like a cards they may seem bad might see play in the future like purify although it was terrible on release but later a expansion it introduce a new Deck like silence priest which would contractiding to buff it because it would neft it
so as title saids which class you think got the best cards (doesn't have to be ultra competitive, it can also be fun for example Valera the hollow not competitive viable but fun)
and which classes got the short end of the deal(It can be ultra competitive but it's not fun to play your opinion )
also I wanted to make this a poll but I'm on a phone so go ahead make a list like this
1(most fun)-9(least fun)
and explain why preferably on most and least and you also talk about your most favourite matchup using the class(you don't have to if your lazy)
(also ps I'm expecting Druid but try not to make paragraphs too long of explaination because we all know what's up with that and people currently hate Druid as a religion so keep it family friendly)
edit i wanted to make this about expansion cards (but it seem I fail to explain that part)and seem like people just wanna talk about generally what they like about the classes well I'm not gonna tell you guys to stop so go ahead and talk what do you like and hate about the classes
Save up gold for adventure they are much more worth than packs if you want the cards and you can slowly invest into them and get surely get cards plus it would suck if you have to pay real money in future dates
Well i don't know man im currently running like double vanish (so kinda aoe)
Heals is noramlly gain for card generations or just 4 mana prince
i don't think its that bad honestly i have gone through 15-5 without losing more than 3 games agaisn't argo out of 7 games
Maybe you need work on the mentally of playing miracle and keeping what muligan for what to increase your chances i haven't had trouble using miracle as of current meta (unless you know jade but thats why i have vanish)
Edit: not to mentions you have backstab si7 , and crazy vacleef stuff so argo for me is less of problem than control matchup
I don't know what I feel of black knight it's okay craft because it's a good all rounder tech card but if your running this card it almost feels like your making own deck worse by adding these card
That doesn't seem like a bad idea it promote the wild format too for the chest and would lead more people to wild
Good post
You can get a chest by just playing wild. So no.
Yeah but don't you think if I invest time on getting high ranking on both I deserve to get at least some rewards and it promote the wild format to standard players
Well over all pretty good analysis prob a little too good?
however i like the 5 gold thing just that problem is that people might concede farm gold so you might to work around that at least like the game has to end at x turn or has end someone dieing or if you concede you dont get gold (within x turns?)
You would need to hit 20 (legal) games a day, every day to make it to around 3k gold a month. That would put you at around 4.5k gold a month with dailies so 180 packs every expansion (disregarding freebies). That's pretty much close to what I said would be the long term F2P reward: " Should be able to save gold after an expansion and be just a few legendaries/epics away from a full set on the first day."
But honestly even 20 games of aggro requires quite a lot of time. I doubt more than 10% of the population would hit this limit.
As for the conceding... Like I said on the post's last sentence: "Obviously you wouldn't get rewarded for insta conceding - there's already a set of rules for checking wether a friendly match should reward quest progression or not, just use those."
Nah i was i talking about the player what is expected i dont think its "realistic" however in a ideal world i would like that
The reward system works for people who have been around for a long time and just need to keep up with the new sets. Even though there are now 3 expansions a year, the new legendary rules along with free packs and events like Midsummer and Frost festival allow players who log in every day to do their dailies to open a decent ammount of packs.
However, there is a gigantic entry wall to this game that not even buying 200€ worth of packs will break. As more and more people quit the game (RL reasons, bored, druidstone, RNG, w/e) you need new players to keep the game alive.
This is why I believe there should be a shift in game rewards. The devs sould adjust them to allow this situation for every type of player:
New player, no buy in: Should be able to craft one competitive deck by the end of the first month without having to disenchant cards that could be valueable for other decks.
New players, buy in: Should be able to craft a competitive deck on the first day and up to 3 by the end of the first month without having to disenchant cards that could be valueable for other decks.
Long term F2P players: Should be able to save gold after an expansion and be just a few legendaries/epics away from a full set on the first day.
Pre-order players: Should be able to get a full set on day one of an expansion.
Big spenders: Should be able to realistically aim for several full golden decks or choose to save gold and manage to aquire the next full set only with their gold.
If the events and freebies keep coming in we're not that far from this situation. I think a change to the gold value from games would be enough to balance this out. I'd make it so that every game awards 5 gold regardless of wether you win or loose and keep the 100 gold daily limit. Obviously you wouldn't get rewarded for insta conceding - there's already a set of rules for checking wether a friendly match should reward quest progression or not, just use those.
