Reno Midrange Shaman is fun because of all the choice and interesting 1-of's in the deck. Also works pretty well. If you're interested I can put the decklist I use on this site for you.
Deathlord has always been one of my favourite cards. Its design is so interesting and it gives control a great yet balanced tool against such a fast meta.
I like the idea of damaging high attack minions. That way it isn't a complete waste for them to spend 7+ mana on a minion that will provide no tempo whatsoever because of BGH. It would see play only for decks that need the extra boost of removal, so the 4/2 stats aren't a big problem.
Definitely look into Raptor/ Deathrattle rogue if you're interested in Rogue decks. It takes a number of the cards from Zoolock as well as other commonly used cards. Just don't craft Dr. Boom if you're planning on mainly playing Standard format in the future since Goblins vs Gnomes won't be part of Standard.
While playing arena, I also had one of those miracle MC tech moments, where I stole a Sludge Belcher when my opponent also had 2 Silver Hand Recruits and a Haunted Creeper. Though, I got out-valued that game and eventually lost, it was still quite amusing
I'd say look up popular decks with cheap crafting cost. That way, you don't have to try to substitute a bunch of legendaries, which doesn't usually work out, and cheap decks are also usually easy to play. Another thing - something I'd recommend is to watch Trump's youtube series called Trump Basic Teachings. You'll get a handle on the basics after watching it.
I think the most obvious problem is with your deck. Most simply put, you're using a lot of bad cards which don't even fit together. I think you need to figure out what cards are good or bad, and how to make decks that use cards that work together/ have synergy, which gives them more value. These days, people are copying decks that are really strong, so trying to quickly throw cards together to make a deck doesn't really work anymore

Maybe 6 attack? 6-cost is a little too broad.

Remember that you need to include the next quote, guys...
"From the depths I come!"

Uh, I guess I'll continue the train.
"Garrosh, you are not fit to rule the horde!"

Nexus-Champion Saraad
"Oh, goodie!"
0
Coliseum Manager
"No escape!"
(hint: he's really big)

Speaking of battlecries, Nerub'ar Weblord could do really well in a deck without many battlecry cards in this meta.
