It seems strange, I agree. But it's probably not about milling cards, but drawing them instead. They appear to already have some card ideas that would be broken with it. We will see.
I don't think so. This deck is pretty well versed against controls, be it Razakus, Cube or even Midrangey like Spiteful. Mill also destroy combo decks. DK could help against aggro if the game went long enough so she could be played. There are very few matches where duplicating buffs is really necessary to win. Usually she is just win-more.
The thing about Kingsbane for mill is that it wins fatigue (hero power to destroy it, either normal or DK), which is very common in the archetype. Consider it rogue's Dead Man's Hand with added win condition/board control/healing (depending on tech synergy choices) value into it.
Of course, every deck can go into fatigue ocasionally, but mill is more concerned about it.
lol, in this deck corridor creeper is still a 5/5.
Seriously now, Creeper and Patches will probably serve no role in this deck after nerf. In that case, Stonetusk Boar could be used as both the 1-drop charge and Curator's beast. With that in mind, Bluegill Warrior would be kind of redundant, and maybe Coldlight Oracle could fit in the murloc slot. He's really useful in combo-ish decks.
Against Frost Lich Jaina I have found that it's useful to save DK for the right time, when you can vanish/sap/flurry for enough consecutive turns without getting frozen and guarentee lethal

Why only one Dead Man's Hand?

lol how can we tell? We don't know any of the cards that will release this year, but I guess no: DK Thrall and Unstable will rotate with Un'Goro.

But really, Cult Sorcerrer was played in a ton of championships in burn decks without C'Thun

You don't need to be in DK form, you can use the normal hero power when the turn ends.
