Standard Evolve Shaman really, added The Runespear and it really works with the deck.
I have added only 1 Murmuring Elemental into the deck as it can be really situational. Obviously, it works amazingly well with Thrall, Deathseer as your minions go up by (4) mana. A second copy can probably be added to bump up the value of some of the battlecry cards however it is not very good standalone.
Another addition in this verison to a normal Evolve Shaman is the slight Elemental package. When I was coming up with this originally, I wanted way more Elemental synergy such as: Kalimos, Primal Lord, Fire Elemental and even Air Elemental. However, they didn't fit in with the evolve win strategy so I removed them for some better cards. I have still got one copy of Stone Sentinel as if you can evolve the (7) mana 4/4 body into an (8) cost card, you're ballin'. There is still enough synergy in the deck to to get its battlecry effect off in the forms of Hot Spring Guardian, Jade Spirit and the copy of Murmuring Elemental.
Edit: 10 upvotes reached so mulligan guide is here.
Jade Claws is obviously a very strong turn two card as it can trade nicely into a lot of (2)/(3) mana cards. I try a lot of the time to keep some sort of Elemental in my hand in the form of Hot Spring Guardian or Jade Spirit as they are both strong against aggro decks.
Against the more controlling decks, I would personally say that preist is the hardest. If they have a turn 1 Northshire Cleric you're going to have a hard time killing it and the cards they draw from it normally push your late game too much. However, against most control decks, Thrall, Deathseer is always a good keep especially if you get the Murmuring Elemental as on turn 7 if you have any kind of board it can completely turn any game. Thing from Below is also a good keep as you will most likely be just using your hero power in a control matchups and if you have a turn 3 Mana Tide Totem its an even bigger power swing on your potential turn 5 play.

A lot of people were playing Spell hunter to my surprise so my winrate was rather high. Nearly every game this deck plays against Secret tempo mage it looses so it is not a good deck to climb with in the current meta. I have removed one copy of Devolve for one Eater of Secrets to try to make this slightly better.
When I get legendaries, I get the worst ones :D. Got almost all shaman legendaries from the past expansions :D
Thank you for making this deck though, now I can put all of them to at least somewhat good use!
And mistakenly I crafted Thrall myself, because I really liked the concept of evolve, but man, was it a bad craft. You learn from mistakes :D
Thrall is defiantly not a bad craft, once The Old Gods rotates out him and a select few decent cards will be about the only decent evolve cards left. It will be interesting to see where Blizz take Shaman next expansion as in K&C it wasn't to great.
I must agree that shaman has been extremely weak lately, not even represented in the last major tournament and as far as I know, not even used in laddering. I really hope Blizzard will buff shaman :)
fun but not efective.
I lack The Runespear and Aya Blackpaw, but have enough dust to craft one of them.
Should I save my dust for something else, or should I craft one, in which case, which one is a better craft? (not just for this deck, but overall, since I prefer to have my legendaries be useful for more than just one deck)
Aya Blackpaw is defiantly the safer craft as is it used in a lot of other decks too and is a much more stable card.
Just wanted to say THANK YOU. Been trying to find an evolve deck that is both fun and effective, and this is the most fun I've had with it yet!
sorry I meant old gods
It's very possible that it doesn't as the only evolve mechanics lie with the Death Knight then...
will evolve shaman exist when un goro rotates out?
lol how can we tell? We don't know any of the cards that will release this year, but I guess no: DK Thrall and Unstable will rotate with Un'Goro.
A fun deck, not high winrate... Just like Casino Mage! "I'm just a guy who plays Casino Mage for fun." (hehe) Don't have Grumble or any other Shaman legendaries, but I just opened the Runespear, so what do you recommend to replace him with? And Stone Sentinel.
Bonemare is defiantly a solid replacement for the Stone Sentinel as it is the same cost for around the same stats and still works in favor of evolve. Grumble, Worldshaker could be replaced with Kalimos, Primal Lord, however they are not the same kind of value. I would defiantly add another elemental in place of him however neither are really there for a win condition imo.
Thanks! I did what you said for Bonemare, but I replaced Grumble for Furbolg Mossbinder. It has HUGE value with Evolve archetype, especially if you're already the Death Knight and you hit it with the hero power after its battlecry.
i allways liked the evolve shaman. so this is a good try to this meta. shaman is also the deck for me with most golden minions and legenderys. so it looks really nice. didnt have the best start with this deck, i have to play it allot to learn what go where and when,
but its fun deck to play and, thats the hole idea for me in this game, having fun! heartstone is a great game!
but yhe, thanx for some tips to update the evolve deck. i didnt use all the cards. seens its allot of elementals in the shaman cards, i`ve put in the Kalimos. primal Lord, and took away Stone sentinel and one Jade Chieftain for two unstable Evolution
#my Englishissobadiknow xD
First game with this deck I played a druid that got to 10 mana by turn 5. So that was a fast loss. Second game was mirror match which I won. third game was against rogue who got a first turn vancleef out so that was a fast loss.
Not a bad deck, did my 5 win quest without losing a game (5-0) although one I was very lucky and on another the opponent didn't know how to play, he missed lethal. (rank 15-14) I didn't use the weapon once, only draw it once and the game was pretty much over, so don't know if it's a must, Thrall, Deathseer is the mvp here, and Eater of Secrets did win me one against mage quest.
Hmm, this deck is not bad, there is some cool new adds, but i'm tired to play Evolve deck since Gadgetzan :-(
Thanks for sharing, i still will try with some changes. I agree about the general point of view about Runespear, i think it's pretty bad and even if it can swing the games for you sometimes, you will have more situation with this thing in starting hand against a aggro deck, or with crappy choice when you will use it :-/
For a more focused Elemental deck with Unstable Evolution, you can try this: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1005396-elemental-unstable-evolution-shaman
DO NOT craft this sh1t
useless shaman weapon that can sometimes ruin your own game
That's only true 25% of the time, you forget that a lot of shaman spells are untargetables anyway.
