Twitchy posted a message on It's Nozdormu Day - Every 15th of the Month!Posted in: NewsJust a nice and fun initiative from the Hearthstone team and literally all they get is complaints. And then you guys wonder why the devs don't seem to be bothered with reading community feedback, can't blame them to be honest.

TheDarksider posted a message on Blizzard Responds: Kargal Battlescar Dust Refund SoonPosted in: NewsAnd why exactly are you crying? Even if your logic were to make some sense (where Kargal and Watch Posts aren't intrinsically connected), there's still no harm being done here, only benefits. I think you're just jealous because you don't have a Kargal of your own to dust....

TheDarksider posted a message on Blizzard Responds: Kargal Battlescar Dust Refund SoonPosted in: NewsWhy are people trying to discuss whether or not the refund is valid, this is coming out of Blizzard's own "digital pocket", there's only gains and no losses here. Those people must be either the company's dog for taking their "side" (when there's not even clashing ideas here, Blizz is giving us stuff for once) or just impatient folks who dusted the card as soon as they opened it because they didn't think it would see play, and thus, are super salty now that they've lost 1200 dust.
Like, even if you can justify that, somehow, this refund makes no sense, you're still working against the players, you're sabotaging yourself. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me.

pokerface posted a message on Blizzard Responds: Kargal Battlescar Dust Refund SoonPosted in: NewsYup, I definitely agree with the refund. I've just tried some watch-post decks. I suggest everybody to try them and feel the difference! Watch-posts are now easily traded and, most of the times, they just sit in your hand (cause if you play them you lose tempo).

CasmX posted a message on Blizzard Responds: Kargal Battlescar Dust Refund SoonPosted in: NewsI'm confused. Not about the dust refund for Kargal, that makes perfect sense. I'm confused that so many other people here seem to not understand why this is being done. I'm honestly not sure if they are trolling or they actually just don't understand why.
People crafted both watch posts and Kargal knowing full well that watch posts were powerful and were going to see play. If you're going to play watch posts, you might as well play Kargal. Then, watch posts were nerfed. Now watch posts aren't as powerful and won't see as much if any play. If people now choose to not play watch posts due to the nerf , there's no reason to play Kargal. Since many people crafted Kargal based on the fact watch posts were powerful, it makes perfect sense they'd receive a dust refund when that power is reduced.
To put it in a slightly different way, a lot of the people that crafted Kargal did so because watch posts were as powerful as they were and never would have crafted him if watch posts were statted as they are now, hence the refund. I mean, this concept can't be that hard to grasp. I try and reserve calling people out as stupid, but come on! This isn't complicated stuff here.

Thanatos2k posted a message on Patch 20.02 - Balance Changes - Duels and Battlegrounds Too & Bug FixesPosted in: NewsThey severely crippled the weapon's power. It draws 1 less card, gives 1 less mana, and has 1 less attack damage dealt. That is insanely nerfed.
Pen flinger nerf removed a ton of hero damage. How will they close out games now?

Eqo posted a message on Patch 20.02 - Balance Changes - Duels and Battlegrounds Too & Bug FixesPosted in: NewsFor everyone proclaiming this won’t change the winrate of Mage or Paladin, it will. It always does. I don’t understand how everyone always uses the same arguments, only to be proven wrong like 80% of the time.
Having to cast Lunacy on 4, or 3 with Coin, gives other decks, specifically Aggro decks, a vital turn to present a bigger board. 4-mana do nothing is devastating against Tempo decks. Turn 2 is fine to finger your bum, but you can’t do that turn 4.
Pen Flinger nerf hits Secret Libram Pally hard, for the simple reason that it loses its reach. That’s what made Libram Paladin so good; superb control tools WITH the ability to reach. As for the Sword, losing 1 durability doesn’t just mean it gets to cast one less Secret; it also means it thins out the deck less, in turn meaning Paladin has a bigger chance for dead draws. Furthermore, it means it can less consistently have Secrets in play to use cards that benefit from Secrets being in play.
I agree with the sentiment on the Posts, but a turn 2, or even turn 1, Watch Posts makes for an extremely shit experience. Same reason as to why Barnes got nerfed, and why Tickatus will most likely see a nerf too. Even though Tickatus is absolute garbage.
For once, kind people of the internet, let the meta settle and THEN call for nerfs. Increases in just 1 mana have proven to work in the past, always. As a last example, bumping Jandice to 6 doesn’t just mean it comes down a turn later; it also means Stepping it is less broken.

Definitely not too slow! In the late game you want to draw and please note that you don't even need to play this cards. You can use them for a big tempo swing whenever you like! Cards that cost (0) always lead to OP situations, so don't underestimate this legendary!

Foxy Fraud into Swindle. Rogues being the true masters of card draw!

Arcane Intellect on crack. But it's allowed, because OP cards are Demon Hunter's main archetype.

Oh great. You only need to have 8 specific cards in hand for that awesome combo that doesn't even OTK armored up Warriors / Druids. This is gonna be SO popular in wild. /sarcasm

C'Thun, the Shattered is a no-effort way to reduce its cost to 1, which then makes it a lot better than Vendetta.

C'Thun, the Shattered likes this a lot. With that card alone, the cost of Malevolent Strike goes down to 1 initially. Rogue is fantastic at drawing cards, so C'thun already makes a lot of sense for the class. Combine that with Ticket Master and Shadow of Death and you've got a solid foundation for a strong deck.

Does copying a bodypart even do anything? Don't you need to play the 4 different ones to get Cthun?

Debunked by Celestalon. Glad Blizzard changed the way these wordings work. This is much better!
