    These cards are really terrible!

I saw many good cards in submission topic ( Holy serpent, Wivernstride Dragoon, Wyrmrest Knight, Awaken the Dreamer, Kidnap the princess ), but they are not here - Wtf?

They had better desing ( My opinion ), more upvotes...
    Im confused.

Glad you like my card ;)
There was a whole discussion on the finals calculations on Page 2. Check it out if you're confused :)

IDK exactly what anyone thinks Nozdormu's Champion does, but it doesn't do anything. If those turns are skipped, nothing happens. No addition effects trigger, you don't get some sort of weird value. Nothing happens. So the battlecry doesn't do anything. Regardless of what explanation you want to use, that isn't how that would work. If you were taking an extra turn, your opponents turn wouldn't start then end instantly, it would just never happen, as if it had been skipped. So this literally doesn't do anything, but somehow a bunch of people assumed it did. What logic is there for that? Oh, but its cool. No, its nothing. Its a card with text for no reason, and you upvoted it. WHY!?!?!?!?

I think it actually means 'both players can't do anything on their next turn', so that'd mean mana crystals are gained, cards are drawn, Ragnaros's/Doomsayer's are triggered, etc.

IDK, that's the only way the card could conceivably work.
Because in any other game that isn't how it works. If a turn is skipped no part of it happens. Why would any part of it happen if it were skipped? That doesn't make any logical sense based on the wording. If rather than you taking an extra turn, you played a very powerful card and the effect was you skipped your next turn, would you expect to still let it stop and gain you a mana crystal or would you expect your opponent to just get 2 turns in a row? I know what I would expect 100%.
I'm gonna have to disagree with you. It was stated in Submissions that it would be as if each player just hit the End Turn button as soon as their turn started. Plus, the entire point of the card was to promote end-of-turn and start-of-turn effects, and this is a decent way to word it, so I don't think you should be criticizing the wording for such a cool effect.
    Aw, you're no fun!

Something rare is happening in here? Is the page or is really someone hacking the votes? Probably the page, but it changes my vote, that I putted in AngryChicken and Zany to CheeseEtc and Livienna, probably some website or forum error, but this quite happened to me twice in a row...

It's probably just a slow connection. I would wait a few minutes and come back later.

    Cards that shouldn't be here:

Cinder: A powercreep on the already-powerful Fiery War Axe that gives you consistency with no counterpart? No please. Also there's no flavor and the effect is poorly worded.

I know it's been mentioned before, but I feel like the mods and topic giver should be able to void an entry if they feel it doesn't belong in the competition, so long as it doesn't affect any of them making finals or not. I think it's been two weeks in a row now that a really lazily designed and poorly balanced card made finals when potentially well thought-out cards didn't.
I'd definitely have anti-wildcarded this if I could. I specifically asked for the "merely being a Dragon is not enough" restriction to avoid another Pepe and I'd be disappointed if it wins.
I think a major improvement on the current system would be a reverse Wild Card. It would help to eliminate poorly balanced cards while making room for cooler, more well thought-out cards. I would call it a Standard Card.

Ugh, kind of disappointed I didn't make it even though I had the most votes on Page 1...

I'll give a review of all of these once I get out of class, this post is mostly a placeholder.

Alright, let's get to it. I will say that I'm very disappointed with a lot of the finalists this week.

Helpful Whelp - 3/5: Kind of treads on Argent Protector's toes. I don't really see the point of it honestly, because Hand of Protection is a thing, but it's a lot better than the other ones.

Chromie, Keeper of Time - 1/5: Really don't like this one. I don't like how much better it is than Youthful Brewmaster. Even if it does require a Dragon, it's a bit over the top.

Nozdormu, Lord of Time - 4/5: This is one of the better ones. I like how it makes you have to drop your Dragons, which would give Dragon Pally a different identity.

Cinder - 1/5: Really poorly thought out imo. I don't believe in the idea that Legendaries should be straight up better than other rarities. Being better than Fiery War Axe, an already good card, puts it over the top. Plus, Legendary weapons don't exist yet. Wait for Bilzz to break their rules first.

Dragonflight Avenger - 2/5: Well balanced, but boring hold a Dragon card is boring.

Kid of the Prophecy - 1/5: Turn 4 Ysera shouldn't be a thing. I feel like this is just an enabler for the boring "I win" type hands that some decks have.

Sleeping Dragon - 2/5: Cool concept, but feels really forced. Why does a sleeping thing have Taunt? You can just step past it. And why divine shield?

Divine Storm - 4/5: Doesn't have much to do with Dragons, but it's a pretty nice concept.

Nozdormu's Champion - 5/5: Really like this one in particular, because of the start of turn benefits. Also has nice flavor, copying Alexstrasza's Champion's stats. (intentional, right?)

Borrowed Time - 5/5: Would actually add depth to the game, making order of play more important. I really like it because it's easy to play around, but the bluff can be real.

Dragonmaw Judicator - 3/5: While I do like it for the purposes of dropping Dragons like, Nozdormu, Lord of Time. However, it seems more unoriginal imo.

Winged Lure - 1/5: REALLY don't see the point of this one. The only small Dragons are token Whelps, and the big Dragons that actually go in your hand don't benefit nearly as much from buffs.

Unlikely Allies - 3/5: Even though I play Menagerie Pally (yes, I'm weird, don't judge), I find that this would work better the other way around, especially since the only Murlocs in the deck are Anyfin Can Happen activators. I feel like giving Dragon Pally an identity in this way should fit with existing archetypes.

Swift Whelp - 2/5: A 2/2 for free that you have to draw probably wouldn't see play. The reason Patches the Pirate is good is because he draws himself. I find it useless, but it might just be me.

Tip the Scales - 3/5: I liked it better at (4) mana. Considering that Dragon decks pretty much always hold a Dragon, I think the swing potential it too large.

Eye of the Dragon - 1/5: Although 1-mana discovers are a thing, I think it's too powerful to be able to control the exact pool of discoverables. Journey Below and Finders Keepers are balanced by the fact that there are some pretty bad deathrattle and overload cards out there (case in point, Bomb Squad and Dust Devil).

Posthumous Children - 4/5: I like this one, but it feels like it would be used more in an type Egg Paladin than an actual Dragon Paladin, because Faerie Dragon is a thing. It seems kind of useless in an actual Dragon deck because the eggs are useless once the actual Dragons come out. Unless I'm missing something.

By the Holy Flight - 5/5: The pun is real. Love it because Pally has actual dude synergy.

The girl is not a troll, she is clearly a night elf.

It's obvious to me that we're looking at a time-double of Elise herself, brought forth from the past to aid in this diabolical scheme.
Elise knows she can't trust any other Alliance children with her grim mission without irreparably warping their moral fiber. But since she already knows her younger version's future self will inevitably fall from the Light's goodness and grace to become a monstrous murderer of innocents, it's a win-win. She can lure the Horde brats into the jaws of the beast (or carnivorous plant) and teach herself some valuable survival skills at the same time.
Elise is nothing if not an efficient multitasker.
The girl can't be past-time Elise because that would be a temporal paradox. It's the same reason why Bronze Dragons can't call on past iterations of themselves to assist them in battle - because one being can't be allowed to see itself in a different time period.

Looking back on some of the first competitions. It's fun to see the power creep of fan creations go up as well :D

In short: It's gone from Yeti type of cards to "auto include" or play this card and win. Hehe.

Hope we get a hall of fame coverage soon.

lol I kinda miss the slow days.... nowadays vanilla isn't strong enough... We get encouraged to make autoincludes because Blizz has made 5 mana 10/10 Taunts and 4 mana 7/7s to slow
I remember when Sen'jin Shieldmasta was pretty much an auto-include. Now, even Piloted Shredder gets outclassed. When was the last time you saw GvG in Wild?
Also, as a side note, Discussion has been pretty quiet lately...what happened?

    My new idea:

What do you think? Can you help with wording to make it shorter?

I'm assuming it means you get Health and Attack per Dragon, in which case you could shorten the second "your hero" to just "it".
