This is the missing link to making an odd-elemental mage work out. I still don't think it's going to be a top-tier deck as it's too "fair", but it's getting there. Will have a very good matchup against slow Warlocks, but it's going to struggle mightily against Paladins.

This card has the potential to be sleeper-op in future expansions. We have seen minion-heavy mage decks in the past (Mech Mage), and one of the crippling weakness of that deck was if you fail to gain control of the early game you just lose since you have no card draw. This card allows for a backup plan if your early game plans failed. Of course this only happens if we get a strong minion-archtype like Mechs, but if we do then watch out for this card.

Can't see this being played in constructed, but is a good arena card. 8 mana deal 8 summon an 8/3 is really good, and deal 3 summon a 3/8 is not terrible.

This card isn't very good. If Rogues had access to Truesilver Champion then they would not play it, or at least won't be the skeleton because single-target removal is the least of their concerns. In order for this card to be playable it needs to be strictly better than Truesilver. A 2/4 weapon is worse than a 4/2 weapon in most cases since 4/2 is faster and tempo is especially huge for rogue, but for the sake of argument let's say a 2/4 weapon is around a 4/2 weapon. You would need to play 3 cards from another class, which is kind of hard to do with Undercity Hukster and Swashburgular getting rotated out, to make this at least contend for a spot. That is far too specific and does not fit the Rogue's gameplan, which is use cheap, efficient removal to survive the early game and reach a win condition in the late game. A new archtype with weapon buffs could pop up, but then you are asking the question "why aren't you just playing Kingsbane Rogue?"

Interesting card and has a lot of potential. Opponent can't possibly play around every secret in the game, and possibly make a sup-optimal play due to playing around certain secrets (missing face damage to play around freezing/wandering, not swarming the board to play around explosive, etc.) Even if the opponent tested out each secret and finds out it is Rat Trick, and by that time the opponent probably made a couple sub-optimal plays to check secrets, shutting the opponent down to playing less than 3 cards a turn or dealing with a 6/6 is pretty powerful. Only problem I guess is Cat Trick is getting rotated out, which is a huge blow to spell hunter and secret hunter, but if the archetype survives then this card will certainly be experimented with.

With the new weapon revealed if there was another decent 3-cost rush card (a vanilla 2/4 rush would do), then I can see this card being a staple in the Tempo Rush Warrior deck. Really this card wasn't that far off from viability before the weapon, but now with the weapon the high-roll potential is there so it's worth it to sometimes play a slightly below-curve card and sometimes play a huge tempo-swing card.

This is a good card. Reminds me a lot of Powermace, and that card carried Mech Shaman as a viable meta-tech deck. Only problem is unlike mechs rush cards are not that strong on it's own, and there currently isn't a 3 mana rush card you can play on curve after this weapon. If there was a good 3-mana rush card, then I can see this card being good in Tempo Warrior, since it's not a huge deal if you can't get the buff off, but you do need some high-roll factor to make this card a staple.

If there is a bit more support then I can see this card being ridiculous. Shielded Minibot defined the Paladin's early game and single handedly made 3/2's that much worse when it was terrorizing ladder. The fact that it has taunt as well means a lot of 2 drops are forced to do this awful exchange, not to mention it can be used in the late game as a way to block damage. Both Scalebane and Fairy Dragon is not far off the current power curve, so if we get one more tempo-heavy dragon card then I can see this archtype working for sure.
