ratking seems to be bad with it, unless you are ahead on board I guess. you don't actually get a dormant copy of it on board. You get the DR on Nathaniel and then you get another ratking to hand.
I guess this is still good though.
I think Copying sunken and bear are going to be the best two targets. Might even be worth adding the tarantula to the deck as well. It has 40 cards so definitely room to play around with it.
I've only tested with ratking so far though, I'm gonna go back and test with other DR's now.
I'm really hopping you get the adds from the polar bear, as that could be good.
I think the real value in this card is making more sunken sabers though.
I'm gonna try a deck with dire frenzy and see if adding more king krushes isn't something that can be done again. Might be bad, but gotta be worth trying. If we are making more pulls from saber, could take advantage of this.
I imagine it'll still be good to cheat out the bears and king krush anyway though... just sucks when you pull hydra out.
you get a copy to hand and you inherit the death rattle. I wasn't able to test it further though as the implock had enough damage on board to kill me.
I cannot confirm that you can revive Nathaniel infinitely or not afterwards, I need to test more. I probably won't pick ratking though unless I'm ahead on board, just to test it out. Definitely going to be best used with Sunken Saber to pull something out of the deck, and then pull something else out upon death.
You will get another sunken to hand as well, so you can cheat out more big beasts.
I think we're gonna see a version where making lots of sunken sabers is the thing to do, but then we just need good targets to cheat out. might mean including some more big beasts, if there are any... probably be better in wild.
I've tested it with ratkling and unfortunately you do not get a dormant ratking on board. I got one to hand and I inherited it's death rattle. I'm not sure if it's working correctly, as by the description it should set off it's DR as well... maybe that just doesn't result in getting a dormant one on board though.
I'm going to have to test more, so hopefully you get the two adds when using it with the Bear, as otherwise it's not going to be as powerful as we thought it was.
Monki's deck is all about creating board presence though, so having a Death Rattle activate that sends damage to face doesn't fit. also just watch the video, he explains it all and shows plenty of footage what the deck does.
The Hunter Legendary is going to make Beast Hunter even better, so this card alone will make it worth it for me.
If you copy the Death rattle from ratking, you essentially get 3 copies of Ratking. the Legendary itself becomes a Ratking, you get 1 x dormant and a copy of the card to hand. Based off how strong it is to have 2 copies of ratking (making another copy with selective breeder) I think this card is going to be very strong.
This also is only taking one death rattle into account, the deck also runs Bear and Sabre which also will be great targets.
I'm also going to be running the Warrior card that draws the weapon, this is going to make Enrage Warrior way more consistent.
A lot more cards in the set that look good though. the Priest stuff looks very strong, the Dh legendary as well.
Anyone have any idea what time they new set is released, or have they not said?
I got up early, hoping it would be released as I forgot for a minute it all runs on one of the American time zones. I assume we'll have at about 5:00pm GMT?
That being said, I don’t play Wild (due to my undying hatred of Coldlight Oracle), but I have seen many similar sentiments to yours on this forum, so it does sound incredibly frustrating!
Every loss is frustrating. It is equally frustrating for big priest to draw Neptulon early and automatically lose the game. Also you should totally play wild if Coldlight is your most hated card lol, at least play the format long enough to decide on a new most hated card.
To the op : no need to nerf colossals, and no need to try to build decks specifically to counter big priest, many decks are naturally able to defeat them.
If big priest ever becomes a problem for Blizzard, rest assured Neptulon won't be the card they change.
if you play HS just to win, you will have a bad time.
EDIT: Sorry I didn't read properly. I thought I was replying to OP.
at least I assume it is, as I know (as a hunter player) that even having 2 x ratking on board is busted :D
having an extra 3 of them is going to be insane. (Nathaniel becomes a psuedo ratking, you get a dormant one and a copy to hand... this is other than the original copy that you copied the death rattle from)
yeah dude, hunter is going to get nerfed, enjoy while we can I guess.

ah ok, sorry. probably just similar picture.

they must be running late? it's after 5:30pm here now, and that is the same as 10:30am PDT.

it doesn't want too many death rattles as you want to cheat out specific ones. I've seen it in action, it can do some awesome things.

Good idea.
BTW do you have the same avatar on twitter? think I was talking to you on there the other day.

Thanks.
