Those were my thoughts exactly, and yet I never matched against this kind of priest and missing too many cards to even consider playing it, and he claims he beat quite a few 8+ win Zoos... <shrug>

Guess you were pretty lucky not to meet any Zoo.

No you didn't

I'm pretty sure Blizzard has heard the players screaming at them that Mad Scientist is overpowered. And what do they do? Take a giant shit on them by combining like 3 to 5 Mad scientists in to one card that even has it as a battlecry instead of deathrattle. = D
At least you can clear Redemption, Avenge and Noble Sacrifice with just a single attack, but still... They couldve given him less stats, a higher cost and the effect Joust and he would still be played.

A great effect to use on Gahz'rilla kappa.
But seriously, I'm loving all the new beast synergy. Beast Hunter, my first love, you are born again.

Of all these cards, the Warlock DK deserves the harshest treatment. It's so many leagues above the other DKs in power-level, it's ridiculous. The card text itself is crazy enough as it is, but there was no reason to make the HP deal 3 damage with lifesteal. Either deal 3 damage alone, or deal 2 damage and heal for 2.
Warlock has the most broken hero power in the game, but at least it has a downside. But now that warlocks can regularly heal back 32 health during the course of the game, that downside is basically negated. And then, after struggling against mana-cheated chargers and taunt walls, the warlock can just resummon them all again, and then start casually gaining back even MORE health with the hero power. The class is just bananas right now, and SOMETHING needs to be changed.
When you take a mechanic that is supposed to balance the powerlevel of a card/class, and then not only create cards that negate it, but also synergize with it (Overload w/ Tunnel Trogg, anyone?), those cards can and will be abused.

I had the dust and I don’t regret at all using crafting the weapon , best decision I made so far

That was not my question..i know that the weapon is a core part of cubelock. I was asking if cubelock will still be strong in this meta as new decks are coming and cubelock has lost n'zoth? Is it ok to invest in that deck?

Hey Americano_Boss, thank you so much for the deck. i wanted to always try cubelock but never had the dust.. now i do.
guys would u recommend crafting the skull (thats the only piece i am missing) .. as its a new expansion ppl always wait ... but i think cubelock will still be viable...what do u guys think? is it safe to invest in cubelock?

It may be "that simple" to you, but as I and the rest of the people here said the most likely explanation is that you were very lucky and did not face any of the rest of the decks that just walk all over it, or that you miraculously got all your combo pieces in place very quickly and hit face without taunts in the way - not that we are playing it wrong.

GOLDEN common! GOLDEN common! GOLDEN common! GOLDEN common! GOLDEN rare!

I must note I will surely not tell you what to do with your dust, and you have every right to spend it in any way you like. And what really matters in any game is having the most fun you can have. If that involves crafting every DK, then go for it! There are just some things to consider before you do - that's all.

The meta will not in any way find a balance in just two more days. What has been happening in the past is that It will start to stabilise after the 1st month when the two meta reports will come out (from Vicious Syndicate and Tempostorm), and then about two weeks later the counters of the community to the top tier decks will be everywhere.
As for crafting all DKs, I see it as completely pointless, in the same way as crafting all legendary quests was. The way it works is that you focus on classes/decks you like to play, go on theorycrafting and/or see them in action on various streams, see what you need in terms of crafts, wait to see whether the deck can work or turns out to be a poor gimmick, and then invest your hard-earned dust carefully and conservatively. From your description, I see you have more than enough DKs to keep yourself busy with new decks before you even consider crafting another DK.

Excellent description and analysis of the deck - thanks!

Of course not. That's confirmation bias.

It's much better actually if you don't make it a Reno deck, but a classic Handlock with doubles and healing. Double Voidcallers, double Doomguards, Malganis etc. And the new DK will bring them all back. Plus, you get the usual double Giants and double Twilight Drakes for early board presence.
