- Hey, Chris, players are getting bored, we need something to maintain hype. - We have nothing to show yet, sorry. - Hmm... I have an idea. Remember 5 secs video that our new animator created for his job interview? - Yep, what about it? - Let's post it in Instagram. - Why? It looks ok, but it is just few seconds of meaningless animation. - You will see, Chris, you will see. :)
Thank you! You can check my other decks for Naxx and Blackrock Mountain. I think many of them are quite good. There are few (mostly for Blackrock mountain) that are less consistent and you probably will be able to find something a bit better these days, but some Blackrock mountain bosses are just poorly designed and immune to any attempts to make a consistent deck due to nature of their abilities (like insane mana lead).
And yes, you are right, Power Word: Shield is useless in this deck now. It can be replaced by any cheap heal, draw or 2 damage spell.
Mostly because this deck was created before Witchwood expansion, so this card didn't exist at that time.
I am not sure about Mossy Horror to be honest. It requires testing. Normally eggs are only a problem in the early game and a 6-cost minion does not help with that. By turn six you will start taking over the board with cheaper minions. Confuse effects and Book Wyrm don't kill them, but Mossy Horror does and unfortunately your deck has quite a lot of minions that die to Mossy Horror, especially Northshire Clerics which you certainly don't want to lose.
On the other hand with Taunt and no dragon requirement Mossy Horror is a much better recovery tool, if your start was not good. I didn't test it, so you may try Mossy Horrors as a replacement, if you don't have some other cards for this deck. They may be viable in some situations.
Ok, I am glad, that you did it eventually. Please, understand, that I never pretended, that my decks are perfect. If you saw my other decks, you should know, that I never copy other people decks and even if I use a similar idea, I always try to change something.
There are a lot of well refined decks for most bosses, but I don't want to use them. And it leaves me with limited amount of options, and sometimes these options may be worse, than those that already are well explored. But I try to present different views on some battles, so I hope that they will provide some diversity and may be more suitable for some people, because of their current collections.
Anyway, thanks for your feedback. Any feedback is good.
Sorry about that. Rend is a difficult boss with a bad design and I don't know a consistent deck to beat him. Unfortunately inconsistent decks are much more likely to suffer from streaks of bad luck, so there are always people who can't win just because luck is not on their side. It is probably has nothing to do with your skill, but I know no way around it. You may try other Rend decks on Hearthpwn, maybe you will have a better luck there.
If you know a better deck, it's fine. My deck certainly can be suboptimal, even though it helped a lot of people. It is one of my oldest decks and I probably can do a better deck now and I'll probably do it eventually. I created a lot of very good decks and some of them are probably better, than most. But I never pretended to be perfect and I never wrote a single bad word about other decks, because people spent time and efforts to make them and that alone deserves some respect (and your efforts with your deck also deserve respect). But I know, that some people need to call other people's decks "fucking trash" to feel better. It's ok as well. I am not offended or something. If it makes you feel better, it's fine.
Thank you! I was a bit concerned, that it is a very expensive deck, so people will not try it. I am really happy, that there are people who actually tried it, because I very like this deck myself. It is indeed super-fun.

Welcome! I am really happy that my deck helps people. This boss is a difficult one.
