The only deck that might actually care about Lord J is Handlock and that archetype is basically dead since Mountain Giant was sent to the HoF. Even if they'd somehow buff him, does it really matter in a game where you can be easily smacked in the face for way more than 15 health in a single turn? Hell, a few games ago I OTKed a Quest Priest (from 30 hp) on turn 8 as Spell Mage. Face it, Jaraxxus would be unplayable either way.
You do realize, that one of the cards is basic (uncraftable), another is from the initiate set (uncraftable as well) and only the two rares actually deliver the full refund? So, "much dust" seems exaggerated.
All Commons and Rares 15 Golden Common 9 Golden Rare 29 Epics (4 were Golden) 7 Legendary (1 was Golden)
All you grumpy mofos complaining about lack of legendaries are ignoring the fact if you bought the bundle, you more than likely finished out all the commons and rares with a good deal of Epics thanks to the pack opening change. That has, most likely, never happened to you before. Dont be so pissy and see the positive.
111 packs as well
All Commons and Rares (max. was 7 copies of Scrap Golem) 11 Golden Common 7 Golden Rare 25 Epics (2 were Golden) 4 Legendary (+ golden Kayn Sunfury as the pre-order freebie)
I opened the fourth legendary on the 93rd pack which translates to an average of 23,25. By opening more packs my average went up to 27,75 which is pretty bad (usually it requires around 20 packs). But I won't complain since it's just a gamble and as you noted, due to the duplicate protection we don't need to spend huge chunks of dust on e.g. epics anymore.
During my first attempt we got killed on turn 5 since he used Overclock EVERY SECOND TURN. So nice to get hit for 8+ damage in the "mid game" while you could have done absolutely nothing to prevent it. Seriously, team 5 - this is the third time this Brawl came up and it's still just awful to play!
Agreed. I can accept the sadness which was depicted by things such as Freeze Shaman or Heal Druid. In case of Thrall it's because the class is known as jack-of-all-trades and thus, it tries to be good at everything. But why the heck should Paladin turn into a formless entity while Uthers class identity is one of the easiest to fill with?!
If this is true, then Shaman should receive a major overhaul as well. There is a reason why Anduin and Thrall relied so much on powerful to nigh broken cards from expansions = their core set is ass. Hence the two eras of Shamanstone (at first the class was OP, then nerfed way too much by Team 5 - that's not how careful balancing works)
In regards to Demon Hunter, is this a weird blend of Druid (hero attacks) and Warlock (Demons, support for Zoo-ish playstyle)? Also, the weapon is basically a 7 mana version of Scourgelord Garrosh and the 8-drop is a strictly better Batterhead. Not sure how good or exciting such a class would turn out to be...
Kinda hilarious that about half the comments related to this topic are auto-hidden.
@OT: Many people expected Mogu Fleshshaper to be un-nerfed but that was very unlikely to happen. As long as Mutate (and now Explosive Evolution to a certain degree) remain in Standard it'd be quite problematic to have access to early 8- or 10-drops which sometimes might win you the game on the spot. As evidenced by the stats from HSR they clearly went overboard with balancing Shaman and the class shouldn't stay in the dumpster just because a single archetype (Galakrond/Quest) dominated the meta. Yeah, back when Aggro and the old Midrange Shaman were a thing they gutted the class as well but why shouldn't they learn a thing or two?
Wow boomer congratz you beated a random deck and thanks for commenting, seriously, thank you for commenting, I was diying if that deck could be beated, thank you rank 1 player for telling us, thank you very much boomer for posting it, very usefull information
Wait a minute, weren't you the clown who deemed DQ Alex a greedy fun card which will never be included in competitive decks?
Talks about rich and poor but he himself is from a broke economy (Argentina) that is deep in dept crisis, can't help but put a smile on my face.
Argentina's economy will never really affect me considering my current job. I also plan to move to another country soon. Sorry to dissapoint you, good sir. ;)
Well, from a financial standpoint you might not be poor but from a moral point of view you're definitely not the richest person.
Considering that Shaman as a class remains in the dumpster since the second round of nerfs I'm pretty sure that "those nerfs are fair" isn't the best description. Thus, I'd be willing to say that the Year of the Dragon card has to be a Shaman card (my guess is Mogu, even though the outrage would become unreal since Mutate and the new 2-mana evolution spell will remain in Standard)

How to create the most exciting experience:

Are you so popular (or important to the HS community) that you needed to replicate the "I quit!" thread?

Both Galakrond and Quest Shaman are going to lose many tools come rotation, namely Shudderwock as the main win condition or the cycle package featuring Totemic Smash, Earthen Might, Spirit of the Frog, Zentimo, Electra Stormsurge and Haunting Visions. Also, without Lifedrinker the burst capability will be reduced. Therefore I think it's fair to say that Shaman needed at least a bit of help to become somewhat relevant again.

"(ready for downvotes but you will remember it)" Yeah I do, and it appears that backfired quickly - boomer.

Shaman (and Mage) as a class will always be very much dependant on heavy RNG. It's the classes nature and will most certainly never change.
