Dunno if anyone remembers me; haven't posted in a while. Had stuff going on in my life. xP

My favorite thing about Warlock is risk vs reward and highrolling, and this fits in well with that. I doubt it could push an archetype on its own but it would be a powerful fit in certain decks, ones that don't care about health and might want to buff minions. A minion-centric control deck would be an obvious pick, but there's also potential applications as a second (kind of) Keleseth.

Dunno what you guys think but I'm mostly happy with the design, just not sure about the cost. Keleseth's effect is a lot weaker and only costs 2, but you get a minion and the drawback is a lot milder I feel. The drawback here is potentially huge, so I'm both worried 4 would be too much but also that 2 would be too little. So I went for 3. Any thoughts? Feel free to point me to your card and I'll do what I can to return the favor. xP

^^^^ Definitely this one. Only thing about it is this supposed to only affect ones on-board? Just making sure because that's how it reads. I would argue you could justify this at 3 mana. Attack buffs are usually weaker than health buffs (even though they're exactly what aggro decks want), and textless minions -- literally not even keyword abilities -- are by and large complete garbage. To even consider running them the support cards would have to kick ass, and I'm not sure Silver Hand Recruits will be enough except in a few situations that wouldn't be consistent. At 3 mana even, this might not be played, so you could consider 2, although 3 is probably the best bet considering how much this could spin out of control. I think at 4 it would be unplayable.

How many cards total will this encompass?

79 cards in total, including quests, Death Knights and gangs at Standard Format
     Thanks!
How are the gangs usually handled in these class competitions? Do people usually just include their class in one of the existing gangs and come up with class cards that suit that gang (like Jade cards or Handbuff cards and the like)?

Were you boicoting Warrior during the Pirate Warrior meta's day (MSoG)? Or Midrange Shaman? You may not like the actual meta, but the cycle of some Classes be more dominant than others is just natural in HS.

neither of those were ever as dominant as priest is right now.
This is just a bullshit statement.
Do you know this for sure -- I.E., have you looked at statistics? -- because there are a lot of people on this forum that seem to know which decks are dominant and exactly how much, but for the past many sets Pirate Warrior for example has not actually had a high winrate. I have no idea what its winrate was back during Mean Streets. Maybe you do?
I don't think Razakus or Big Priest are really dominating to the popularity-accepted degree either, incidentally.

posted a message on If you still think this game is random you are insane

If winrates were weighted in the way you're suggesting -- where your success is actively damaged by weighting --  it would be next to impossible for professional players or even just high-ranked players to rise above others. Literally... the existence of players who succeed over others disproves the idea of skewed ranking... unless you think Blizzard is favoring pros... but how would they have even become pros then?

Incidentally there are hoards of logical reasons for bad luck in ladder. Constantly matching against a powerful deck would make sense since those are usually popular, and as people have complained about in identical other threads, sure sometimes you try to pick a deck that counters it and get matched against counters to THAT... but that's how that works too; everyone is trying to counter what each other are playing, which is always a rat race where one deck replaces another constantly.

If you are unable to rise in winrate or in ranking (one or the other must rise), then you are not improving as a player. Blaming statistics with alternate explanations instead of blaming the only consistent factor in your games (you) and improving your play is not going to help you win games.

Obviously I'm sarcastic. Someone getting legend with a deck is meaningless. Fibonacci gets legend with control warrior every expansion and that hasn't been legit for a long time. Hunter was practically nowhere in the competitive scene during un goro and mean streets.
Fibonacci is a highly skilled player that has topped Legend. He could probably beat any sub-Legend player with most decks. He's not a relevant example. Thanks to Toast popularizing the idea, MANY people got to Legend with Hunter. No one's going to argue Hunter is at the top of the meta but if plebs get to Legend with a class then it's not trash. Maybe not viable -- that depends on your meaning of the word though -- but good enough to win some serious games with if you know how to play it.
Incidentally I knew you were being sarcastic; it's part of why I replied to you. Obviously. ;)

Yeah we know for sure that corridor creeper is super good. If the card doesnt get nerfed it will be a staple in most aggro/token decks. Im pretty sure i can already say what cards are good or not. Top tier decks will stay good till next expansion, meta wont change that much anymore.
     No, you don't.
It's old-hat in CCGs or competitive gaming in general, and let's face it, it's basic logic: The first time you put your hands on anything, you do not know how to use it optimally. Just because something seems good does not mean it turns out to be better than alternatives when you learn how to play them properly (and vice-versa). It's very common for cards or entire decks to be good for a time but for the meta to shift as people come to understand that they already have the tools to counter them.
My favorite example is from a different game (in a different genre) but it's easy to understand: When Aatrox came out in League of Legends, everyone complained about him being overpowered. He was essentially this massive damage-dealing character that had lifesteal and healed as he attacked, and he could even revive (with a long cooldown associated with the ability) whenever he died. But there was an ability in the game that any character could use called Ignite, and it was already a common pick-up in most games, which did damage to an enemy over time but also reduced any healing they received during that period. Most people used it to snipe off almost-dead opponents, so no one thought of using it on Aatrox early in a fight to axe his healing... until they did. He has never to my knowledge been a high-tier character.
For what it's worth I actually agree with you that Corridor Creeper is strong. But neither you nor I really can say that for certain. It might be strong against what people are currently playing... but the set just came out, so that's going to change and Corridor Creeper might not be as good against the cards people are playing in the coming months.

Ok you guys have explained why it's a good addition, but you all missed my main point of the thread, why is he the one taking all the blame for aggro decks. He is a good addition to aggro decks, but not the reason for them, or OP a deck?

The hatred for aggro decks is inherently misplaced to begin with. There's this funny perception among a lot of Hearthstone players that it's essentially unforgivable that aggro has ever been so overpowered (and to be fair, they are frustrated that a single deck category has dominated for a long time), but they use weird justifications like aggro decks being dumb decks that don't require intelligence to play, which isn't true. It's also hard to imagine most of them could have ever played another CCG considering that other CCGs have had non-aggro deck archetypes dominate the meta and it's just as irritating when control decks are dominant. Might be worse actually; games last forever. At least getting crushed by an aggro deck is quick.
All I'm getting at is that while aggro decks have been a problem, most of the average criticism you see for them is downright silly; of course they blame a single card for it. =P

You should craft any card you like, unless your priority is to simply win, and in that case you should follow whatever professional players are doing.

The expansion just came out. No one on this forum (including me) really knows for sure what cards are good or bad, and honestly even pros are going to take a little time to work it out. Any advice you get is only opinion.

I actually agree with you up to a point, because I've rarely ever played a game where Patches made significant enough of an impact that I found his presence too oppressive. The only times I ever have felt overwhelmed is when he got brought out by a Southsea Captain, and that can actually be kind of nuts.
However Patches is as others have said a very strong include in many decks; it's not true that every deck uses him and a lot shouldn't or can't, but he fits immediately and inarguably well into almost any aggro deck or token deck; basically if you want to go face, then every point of damage counts, and if you want to flood and buff the board in something like Token Druid or Evolve Shaman, than every body buffed counts.
Yes he is only a 1/1, and that's important to remember, but it's also true that unless you draw him, he's a free 1/1 that draws himself; when you need a body you get a body. He's not broken, but he's basically the ultimate value card... which is hilarious considering his stat-line, but even compared to something like Bonemare the value you get from him compared to the cost is astronomical.

Its the best legendary in the game dude, you probably don't have it and are trying to justify not crafting it.

Your post actually comes off as far more petty.
