The reason Jade Druid deserved nerfs, rather than say, ramp druid, which sadly got hit as well, is that the mechanic was life suckingly terrible to play against. Playing against rakazakus priest is pretty fun, so no nerf is needed there. If any priest deck needs nerfing it is big priest, and it has nothing to do with winrates, as percentage wise, highlander priest is superior - It isn't so blatantly unfair and soul crushing for the opponent as big priest and it's turn 4/turn 5 BS. Hearthstone is supposed to be fun for both players in a match.

Hmm no... I find playing against Highlander Priest to be a horrible experience... At least against Big Priest you know on turn 4 whether or not RNG screwed you over, against Razakus it takes 10 minutes and then you get machine gunned to death just cause you dared to play a slower Deck and they drew DK and Raza.... That being said,it's basically impossible for a Deck to consistently have 70% winrate and as much as I hate this meta and would love to see Raza/DK interaction changed I don't think Priest is really in need of nerf,at least in Standard,in Wild it's utterly broken and things will only get worse over time if they keep releasing ridiculous cards to balance their crappy Classic set....

To me this is like saying "I liked playing pirate warrior more cause they win or lose turn 4, atleast I don't have to play a long game and lose anyway" - but the point is, you don't 'lose anyway'. Yes the deck is strong, yes it relies heavily on finding raza early. can you still win if they do? Yes. I just beat a rogue right now, who had Keleseth and shadowstep in opener. He highrolled and still lost...it happens. I have more opportunities to win game (hell, even just play the game)against this rogue, than I would against a pirate warrior who set me 12 health turn 4, then 5 he plays arcanite reaper. Big priest is the same, and it really really sucks to play against - it's not even fun to beat them, as they just play nothing and die becasue tehy didn't draw their 'cheat' cards, there is no middle ground.
Priest would be totally fine if it wasn't for the "machine gun" effect. Raza should work with basic hero power only (like Justicar, for example), and the "machine gun" combo should still cost 2 mana per hero power. Simple as that. And yes, I admit I am one of the guys who use and abuse this with Velen, but that's not exactly my fault, that's how the game works. It should get toned down. Other than that, the class is more or less fine. It's powerful right now, but other than Raza it is really not that oppressive.
It's one guy l;aying it from rank 20 to legend? with 1545 games? or I don't get it anyway it's a small sample size and if it's experienced players or one player that played the deck 1545 times..
HE DESERVES A 70% WR.
Priest is currently strong but FINE, every deck has the god hand it just turns out that the god hand for priest is to draw 2 specific cards ASAP and play them.
Saw some players like firebat predicting and playing perfectly against the deck, jade druid was oppressive, in this meta you can play whatever tempo deck you want and you won't get absolutely crushed by a specific deck (druid or pirate warrior)
The nerfs did their jobs very well.
adn the meta is now diverse while priest isn't tier 1 by all sites in countrary to "god tier" 60% WR druid..

"Playing against highlander priest is fun" Omega LOL .
Honestly being a highlander priest player myself, it is just too good of an overall deck. They can handle aggro...out values control....they have answer to almost all situations. I think one way to nerf it is decrease Raza's hero power cost reduction to (1) instead of (0). This way at least they can machine gun down everything that quickly.
i must really really suck at highlander priest. lol i litterally am waiting ever game for either raza or anduin. their almost always in the last 3rd or even the one of the last 5 cards. i just dont know what im doing wrong.
Yeah, nerf a tier 2 deck that some people don't like, tempo rogue is much of a "problem" if you want to compare winrates, the meta is fine now, there is a lot of decks above 50% winrate, it seems like you guys want to nerf everything in the game
PsyyKik's got the right idea here. CCGs always have better cards and better strategies, so there are always going to be "better decks". Truly oppressive ones get banned in paper ones or nerfed in digital ones, but it's a little soon after a new set (and then a huge nerf) for the meta to have settled; big balance changes or new cards shake up metas and produce swinging winrates. A 70% winrate on a deck right now may not be the same a week from now. I know Razakus Priest didn't have a 70% winrate a week or two ago, which only proves the point.
If the OP scrolled down the page, he'd notice the Raza Priest list with over 4600 games played, and a 41% win-rate. Citing individual results isn't particularly helpful - HSReplays features a Reno Mech Mage deck in Wild with a 63% win-rate over 900 games. Presumably, no one supposes that the deck ought to be nerfed.
I played Razakus from 15 to legend last month with about a 70% WR. Went from just over 300 wins to golden. That said, I don't think a nerf is appropriate. Look at the pie chart for deck popularity. It's almost even ninths. Do you have any idea how much that says for the healthiness of the meta? Need I remind you that in its prime, Secret Paladin alone took up almost 40% of that chart? Before the recent patch, Druid was in the same boat. Now everyone is playing a bit of everything. While certain decks can seem oppressive, the fact is that every deck has weaknesses and strengths right now, and that is about all we as players can ask for. A rock-paper-scissors matchup might seem like a lottery, but it's much better than knowing you should just concede as soon as you hear "I will fight with honor."

70% win rate ????
Funny I keep getting free wins from them... So weird.
I must be 100% of the 30%. Did I do that right?
No.

The "Free machine gun of death" is the part that makes the deck absurd. All they need is cheap cards in hand, and they win.
