Find a streamer that explains their plays and uses a deck that you like. That's basically free coaching.

I saw a couple of concedes but think about how many times he gets stream sniped.

Have you seen a warrior deck without frothing berserker?  Ever?

Lots of times. Most of the time, actually.

Reached legend with this deck today. Replaced Haunted Creeper with either an Ironbeak Owl or Acidic Swamp Ooze depending on the matchups, sometimes left deck as is. This deck can be rough against a handlock and patron warrior heavy meta but it's possible to break into legend with it.

Also for the handlock matchup I recommend against controlling the board as is stated in the guide. This would get me killed every single time. Their taunts and AoE are too much for you, you need to push face and only kill or silence taunted minions unless you see a really efficient trade. Make the board sticky even if it means slowing down a bit. Throw down a Nerubian Egg instead of Knife Juggler for example if you've got nothing sticky on the board and are pushing damage. This helped my win rate against handlock a lot.

And patron warrior being a "tricky" matchup is an understatement, if you're playing a patron warrior that knows what he's doing you'll get slammed. Wish yourself luck on this matchup because that's the only thing that will get you through it.

This deck has great match ups against everything else though, it's a nice soft counter to hunter if you play it right and can win against anything out there consistently.

I agree, it's a terrible point. How about the confusion when an expansion is released for a player that has been on a break? There's new decks and whole different meta, how is that not as bad as changing the mana cost of a card or something?
