Maining a class lol, why would playing around with 1/9th of the class cards on metas that shit on you would ever be a good idea? Do you dust the cards of all other classes too?

This is the dumbest post I've read in a while, and that's a lot coming from Hearthpwn.

I for one am looking forward to goblin bomb hunter, I love the idea of consistent-ish stream of damage that isn't the good ol' just going face, but instead messing around with the board and mechs :D

posted a message on Developer Insights: Boomsday Arena Update with Kris Zierhut

If you're the one that claims the system is rigged, the burden of proof rests on your shoulders. Find information, gather statistical data, run tests by yourself with help of people, try to get conclusive results.

It'd be interesting to figure out if that kinda thing actually happens in the game. It's a lot of hard work to do, and it'd certainly give us better insight on how the game actually works, but so far nobody cares enough to test it out or give solid arguments other than that one article that talks about some algorithm some company made to affect match making.

Until then, it just seems like confirmation bias and people not understanding how statistics work overlap.

If they made it so the player that made little rag hit 60 attack or whatever attack limit first won this brawl would be soooo different.

Also, Frost Lich Jaina works with mini rag... If you want to heal back to 30 every turn AND make the game last 20 mins don't forget to put her with your Grim Patrons

So people spent a load of money on an expansion they have only seen what, 6 cards of? What if the expansion ends up being crap? What if the meta is still dominated by the same old archetypes and you just needed few dust to craft a few new epics to make your decks a bit stronger?

OP's points are kinda meh to be honest, he really misses the point that everyone is buying a preorder for an expansion they have barely seen any cards of, mostly because of the golden .gif image slapped on it. What if the expansion ends up being very weak and everyone got baited because of that? Yes, it could also end up being very op too and what not, but shouldn't everyone be a bit more rational and less compulsive, and analyze the expansion a bit better instead of jumping on the golden stuff bandwagon right away? That is my biggest gripe here, people really just mindlessly throwing their money to things they don't even know. Since Blizzard is Blizzard it can't just run away with your money or some scam like that, but there's still a chance this just ends up being a filler expansion, which is more or less the same.

Yes, I get it, people can do whatever they want with their money, but they should really think twice before trying to give incentives to any industry to do bad practices that could end up horribly.

I buy every expansion. There are always good cards and bad cards. This is pretty much the only game i play. I try to play console games with my kids now, and they just don't do it for me(other than Madden).

See, at least you make some reasonable points about it. Again, people can do whatever they want with their money and all that. And if that were always your plans, that's great. But the people that go "OOHH SHINY GOLDEN SKIN I MUST PREPURCHASE ONLY CHANCE TO GET IT!!!", yeah, that's my problem. They are just falling for a trick. Yes, you can legitimately want the skin too because it's cool and all of that, but a lot of people just get hooked with the "LIMITED TIME OFFER!!!!" thing so much, it almost feels like a marketing strategy to boost the sales on a random expansion that could just be filler you know?

I know, I know, but the main focus seems to be mostly about the paywall itself more than anything else, which is what makes it looks like a salty rant and possibly the reason why people just got so toxic and defensive about it.

It sucks, but critical thinking isn't a thing most people really do.

posted a message on Should this be allowed to happen?

It has always worked like that, some justifications for it I've seen are that it's based in World of Warcraft or Warcraft itself, where stealth means that your enemies can't see you rather than your own team, so you can still use abilities on them and whatever.

If anything, the stealth tooltip should be changed to explain properly that it can be targetted by friendly effects and not enemy ones.
