posted a message on Core Set Has Been Released! - ALL Cards In the Database

The more I look at all the cut cards , the more I get worried for all the F2P players. Sure , we are all getting the core set for free, but the core set is half as big as the Classic/Basic set. This means that the options on deck building are going to be as dependent as ever on current, rotating set cards as it has ever been .
Also the core set is very underpowered compared to the classic/basic set. We got a couple of buffs like Jaraxxus , some of the legendary dragons and the 1 mana Shamman minion, but when you realize we are losing most of the staples in most decks shit starts to get serious. Hunter losing Kill Command, EH Bow, and animal companion, Mage losing all of its useable freeze cards, Sorceress apprentice and KT Mage, and Warrior losing shield block , BR, and Kor'kron Elite , just to name a few.
I seriously hope that the buffed cards are enough to help out new players making some cheap viable decks.

posted a message on This combo seems problematic to me.

I mean if you are playing against aggro and this hits his 1 drop. The opponent laughs, plays Skull of Guldan, floods the board and kills you next turn for wasting your time playing a 7 mana 3/2

posted a message on Unannounced Changes + Data Mine - 5 Returning Card Backs, New Voice Lines & More!

Believe it or not kid, cosmetics used to be something baked into games and not something you had to get mommy's credit card for. They used to be something that demonstrated your dedication to the game through how much time you invested to get something really rare, and no matter how much money you had you couldn't just buy it in a couple of minutes. Cosmetics used to have value as a symbol of status. Not everyone could have the Black Qiraji battle tank or the Black Proto Drake , so when you saw one you knew that person was serious about the game.

Now cosmetics are just dumb valueless garbage to sell to whales , and even if there are some that you can only get once through gameplay  you can rest assured that they will sell it back to you in the future, making it lose all the value it had. And it is all possible thanks to dumb people that buy/support this practices, just like you.

posted a message on New Hearthstone Year Announced! - Year of the Gryphon - Game Mode: Mercenaries

I think you just hit the nail in the head my friend. Usually I make guesses myself but this year I think it'll be exactly what you said.

Edit: I think the second expansion could be Stormwind because of the Bricks behind the flag.

posted a message on Tickatus is good or bad for this game because...

It is the win condition on a tier 3 (some even say tier 4) deck. If you think the card is a problem you really need to understand that some terrible decks often have very good winrates against high tier decks, and this is no reason to get your panties in a twist for. Sure your greedy control deck might struggle against this deck, but they lose to most of the other decks out there, they only play those decks to counter your kind of deck, and this is good, because it helps keeping control in check.

posted a message on Weekly Community AMA From Dean "Iksar" Ayala - Golden Cards Upgrades, Craftable Skins & Card Backs, Titans and More!

Zeph is also one of my favorite cards, but its too soon to add it to the core set. We all need a break from strong cards at some point.

posted a message on Classic format Will Fail

I actually don't think so. If people are playing wild which is an unbalanced stale mess, I'm pretty sure there will be people that enjoy the classic set (not myself included though)

posted a message on Introducing the Core Set, Classic Format, Legacy Set & More!

As I understand it , you wont need to get the unnerfed versions if you already have the nerfed versions. They'll just show differently in Classic format. But if you don't have some of the legendaries from the classic set like Rag, Sylvanas , or the Charge murloc you will probably be able to open them from classic packs when it goes live.

I have been saving a ton of classic packs for a while now. What will happen to them when the core rotation kicks in?
