Answers to combo decks are important, but this is too easy, too reliable and too backbreaking. After the nerf, Illucia will still be hands down the best anti-combo card in the game, but at least she'll be a bit slower, and the Priest player will have to more carefully think about when to play her, and it will give the combo decks a tiny bit of room to play around her.

The card is still insanely good, whenever (non-resurrect) Priest sees play, this card will be included 100% of the time.

 Too reliable??  LOFL...it's a LEGENDARY aka ONE (1) copy per deck.  For a class with no draw, that's a big deal.  This nerf is LUDICROUS.

 I don't understand what people are down voting him for. He is right, the card is a 1 of and not that reliable, and though the card does shut off combo decks the 1 mana nerf does pretty much nothing for that. The nerf was pointless.

If priest is so broken how does its best deck only have a 51% win rate in HS replay? Where are you getting all the priest matchups? it literally only counters 1 tier 2 deck (big warrior) , and has a slightly favored matchup against guardian druid. It gets trashed by pretty much every other deck out there except combo decks (which aren't doing very well at all anyways) 

People are going to overate this card. It's a tech card.
You only play this card in a heavy combo/control meta, if you use this card against Aggro/Tempo you risk drawing your opponent 4 cards for free while you draw 4 at a cost. You can kind of play around it, yes, the only way in which you can play around that situation is by having 3 cards in your hand and this being the middle card in which case you are paying 4 mana for arcane intellect, however if your opponent is running Spectral Sight instead of this card, you are going to lose in most situations.

It's different because calling someone Dave when they prefer to be called David is not considered hate speech, or even racism as some people in this comment section call it.
If you can't see how different the social implications are , then I'm pretty sure the person with insufficient social skills here is not me, it's you.

Imagine having to do background research in order to know which pronoun you have to use on someone, otherwise risking offending people or worse, being fined in some countries. What a shit show the world is turning into.

You wont get DH cards from classic packs until the next year. This time around you either get them for free from the prologue or from  AoO packs.

The hero power is disappointingly weak, even compared to the last Hero cards : Hagatha the Witch and Dr. Boom, Mad Genius. I would've love to see something like "Deal 3 damage. Overkill : Discover a spell you played this game"...

Still... Being able to deal 2 damage to any target can't be bad for hunter, i guess...

No, it's not weak... it's not just interesting and new.

I'm sad not because this isn't playable, but because of the fact that Hero Cards mechanics are worth to be explored more than just printing a battlecry we've already seen before. Even the Hero Power is very lackluster in creativity. What good are the card competitions then? Maybe they could have revised a fan creation Hero Card and made it their own. Fan creations are more fun than this actually :(

Don't get me wrong I'm happy I won't hear "Hello! Hello! Hello!" anymore and I guess Aviana's nerf is okay too but did they really need to kill Mana Wyrm? As much as I hate the card making it 2 mana seems overkill and it's not like Tempo Mage was oppressive.... Also,where the heck are Druid's nerfs for Standard? Are there really people that still think that Spreading Plague and Branching Paths are balanced cards? They killed off GI but the meta is gonna stay the same,that's great.... I really can't wait for the next expansion to come out.... 

Nether Egg is very good idea. Just Treachery it when enemy has empty board aaaand ..... he can't play any minions without destroying it.

If Blizzard won't give the Rogue more ways to clear the board, they'll just have to acquire them via proxy. Shadow Egg serves as an anti-AoE tech tool: your opponent cannot use cards like Consecration or Explosive Trap without handing you a copy of the spell in return. You could use Shadow Egg to acquire a minion, applying Cold Blood and trading the egg into someone else to steal a copy of it.

If you want to get creative, Neutral AoE like Baron Geddon can kill the egg, providing you another copy of the Baron.

An interesting egg that can turn your damage spells like Fireball into board clears, or even can double up the effect of certain board clears like Hellfire .
