i never have problems with big minions, i always have power word death in hand not doing anything. i often wish they would play big minions. big game would just be a dead card to me

i replaced a kodo with the gadgetzan auctioneer. gadgetzan is only gonna be played if ur in a good spot though so not sure how important of a card it is, if ur losing it wont be useful.

Very true about big game hunter, I was just thinking that it was to much..hmmm well for draw power I guess im either going to need a loot horder and or 2 inventors. If I went with the 2 inventors and not the loothorder I would take out the kodo and the other shadow priest.

I got question if we will Divine Shield him we will survive?

    No Doomsayer destroys all minions.

Divine shield mechanics just prevent the first source of damage, but does nothing versus "destroy cards".

If Doomsayer read "Deal fatal damage to all minions on the board" then Divine Shield would work.  But right now I think priest can make the best use of him.  I think I might have to add him to my own priest deck to counter some swarm decks.

posted a message on Northshire Cleric OP?

    Quote from RealStarke »

If it was Neutral? Definitely op.

In a priest? Fine, on the strong side, not necessarily OP.

Look at warlock for an instance, 1/3 taunt for 1.

Mage, 1/3 +1 attack every time you cast a spell, costs 1.

Every class has its traits that seem OP.

On that note, Northshire Cleric + Acolyte of Pain is the <3

Agreed, ever deck does have it OP traits but that what makes us want to play that hero. This is just for the priest deck.

I have also thought of adding a big game hunter for even more control of some bigger minions before I can get a mind control or draw into a PWD. Just one though. however this will not address the draw power issue.

Only Heroes where I tried and had success with Murlocs consistently (and not just due to a good starting hand) is Lock and Shaman. So no, I don't think they are universally good. They always kinda work though, I'll give you that, which is allready better then a Pirate deck on most Heroes.

agreed, the buff cards in both the Warlock and the Shaman work ever well with Murlocs and make them a consistent deck.

Test it out 10 times and see the results.

I have, and I won about 8 games out of ten. However, I would not count two wins, due to really big miss plays on their side of the board.

i did better with it today, this deck requires more luck than most other decks in drawing the right cards

do u play it a lot? whats ur win percentage? wat weaknesses do u find with it?

its no so much luck, but the amount of draw cards in the deck. Right now there is only one instant draw card. Power Word: Shield which can be pretty bad. I could add in some inventors or add in some engineers.  If I had to pick it would have to be inventors. If I was REALLY despite for a minion to to attack I could use it with PWS/Divine Spirit with inner fire.  I could also add a good old loot hoarder.  Than the only real draw power of the deck is Northshire Cleric.  To add more draw power I could add a Gadgetzan Auctioneer since this deck does have a lot of spells. However, I feel like adding more draw power might take away from some of the control of this deck. If any one sees an easy answer let me know :D

I'd try to add some Owls. They are beasts, they can silence taunts and bananas.

    This

Seems like a solidly put deck.

I don't remember the name, but there's a Kudo creature, 3/5 or 2/5 IIRC that instakills creatures with 2 or less attack, also a beast, I like that guy a lot in beast decks.

what I can try to do is to take out one Savannah Highmane and two Dire Wolf Alpha for two owls and 1 kodo. does that sound good?

so it would look like this

    The beast king V2
Export to BBCode Export to Cockatrice Export to MarkDown Export to Html Clone this deck
    Minion (16) Ability (14)
    Loading Collection

I just see it as being able to use it twice, and just adding to the value of the cobra.

decks weakness is too few minions

always found myself with too many spells and not enough minions resulting in losses

Well, how many times did you try it? Ever deck can have a bad opening hand.  And if you played it alot what would you replace with what?

i'd remove 1 mass dispel to add a minion (prophet or lord of arena perhaps ?) I've played around 10 games with the deck and Mass dispel is so situational... I've only used it once for the silence and once for the card draw in about 10 games.

it requires 4 mana to use, and your turn 4-5 is the turn you can play most of your cards and make a good strategy (taunts, lightspawn, etc) so I was never using mass dispel on turn 4 or 5 because :

    1) opponent didn't have enough minions to dispel by turn 4 since I killed most of his minions with SW:P and/or Lightwell + Inner Fire

    2) I'd rather play a 1/7 taunt or a sen'jin to tank the damage and heal with lightwell or hero power

it's a nice card to have in your deck when you're around 8-9 mana, imo.

ok, ill take one out of the deck list and maybe add a power word: Shield for an other high defense monster OR more card draw.

+ 2 attack isn't really a waste... it's an upgraded divine shield version haha. Bestial Wrath is a great removal tool.

its not a waste its just an added feature. the main reason is so you can use the Emperor Cobra more then once, or to make a trade a LOT more in your favor.

Happy to see someone testing Bestial Wrath, I feel that card doesn't get as much love as it should. Although the +2 attack is a waste, that + Emperor Cobra can kill anything you desire, so its a nice removal combo. Also King Mukla getting some love in hunter decks, I figured a 5/5 body early on could do wonders for the usually squishy hunter beast early game, even if there is a downside (the bananas), they can be countered if the enemy just mindlessly uses them. Looks pretty good, I'd think about replacing maybe 1 highmane with a lower cost minion, but even then that's more of a nitpick than anything else.

Yea, I agree with that. I was thinking of getting an owl. Its a beast, you can use it to silence The Best so they do not get a free 3/3 or anything else.

Have tried out a bit, it's a fun deck, will need some change to make it a master deck tho. so far around 70% w/l ratio...

it's so much fun tho, I literally just 1 shot'd my opponent (mage) on turn 5 .

    mogu'shan warrior (1/7) for 4 cost on turn 4

double Divine Spirit and Inner fire for 5 cost total on turn 5 to make it a 28/28 then attack

Thanks for trying it out! what are some of the changes you would make to it?
