Wow, an aggro-whine-thread. This is new and exciting.

Ryan_Sechrets posted a message on I feel terrible for F2P new playersPosted in: General DiscussionWhy should new F2Ps expect to do well on ladder? That is the competitive side of hearthstone. Such a player is, by definition, casual. New players are probably not yet skilled players, and don't have all of the cards. Your underlying assumption seems sorely mistaken.

Demonocrat posted a message on Why is Aggro still Alive?Posted in: General DiscussionAggro never dies, it evolves. Death to your durdling pointless "I like to play hour-long games" decks! Long live aggro!
More seriously, there are always decks that try to win the short game, and some that try to win the long game. It will never change.

TechstepSW posted a message on Why is Aggro still Alive?Posted in: General DiscussionQuote from WiseAsPlato >>Standard would be balanced and Wild...well yes would be wild. The meta never slowed down and aggro will always be there since it makes Blizzard the most money ( easy winfix, low skill). The Zoolocks and the Shamans are the new ebola-spammadins. There are a lot of folk out there loving this game, but die inside because of the kills in 7 turns. And really I can't see why people say that aggro is good for the game. Please explain....
It would be a good thing if the were an only aggro game mode and an midrange/control game mode.
In a moment of activism I would say: free midrange/control from the pestilence called aggro. Aggro is like a desease. Very bad for the game.
Here we have someone with 0 understanding on how balancing works. Without aggro every deck would be a greedy mess. The decks with the most lategame threats wins. Aggro is needed for a balanced metagame but alas instead of teching against it you bitch and whine that you can't beat rather predictable decks. Not to mention there are like tops 2 top tier aggro decks compared to multiple control and midrange decks. -

You guys are cute.
I bet you warlock could run a competitive midrange C'thun deck with NEUTRAL cultists (wow, what's new) and dominate other C'thun archetypes. Don't even get me started on Zoo.
Seriously speaking, priest and rogue will probably have a hard time adapting. Paladin is in a weird place. Could flop, could come out on top.

Blizzard responded to ADWCTA's #arenawarriorsmatter campaign and we see some results so i guess we need someone to start #nerfpatrontooblivion campaign or #nerfwarsongcommander at least :)
