Power of four refers to Mind Control Tech's battlecry, I reckon. You benefit from your opponent's salvation because if he throws down a lot of minions, you can play it and get stronger. The minion you get becomes the new mask, because your opponent will want to kill it and finally, the card is ancient, has been in the game since it's initial release.
Here's my idea for a new Mage legendary. In GvG we got the Flame Leviathan, which was kind of a letdown, so I'm hoping any new legendary card Mages get is actually good and synergizes with the rest of the class cards.
Rhonin Redhair:
Flavor Text: "In the Kirin Tor, if you don't have a last name, they just call you by your hair color."
Backstory:
Rhonin Redhair was the former leader of the Kirin Tor, which is a collection of powerful Mages. He was relevant during the WoTLK expansion in World of Warcraft, so I believe he may be the new legendaries that Mages get.
Effect:
Rhonin has a very simple and cool effect. His Battlecry and Deathrattle will draw you a "Rhonin Spell Card" which are one mana utility cards which can be used to gain tempo in the game. I personally thought of Toshley when making this card, but I believe if this were a real thing, it would quite definitely replace Toshley in any tempo Mage deck.
Rhonin Spell Cards:
Mana Suffocation:
Pretty straightforward, could choose to give it to your own minion or an enemy minion.
Mana Transfusion:
Unlike Recombobulator's effect, this actually destroys the minion first, triggering any effect or deathrattle and then summons another one. This could be beneficial or not, depending on the card.
Mana Castigation:
The Loatheb effect but for minions. Probably one of the stronger ones.
Mana Rejuvenation:
Functions both as a weaker Sap or a modified Shadowstep. Pretty good either way, I reckon.
Mana Restoration:
This should be given to a friendly minion, because it almost completely loses it's effect when given to an enemy minion because there's no point in gaining Mana during your opponent's turn. If given to a minion that successfully lays some attacks, you get half an Innervate each turn.
Synergy:
The cards themselves are pretty strong, but what makes them even better is that they synergize well with Mages. Sorcerer's Apprentice makes them cost zero, good to feed to a Mana Wrym if you draw one in the later game, and all these count as spells and will trigger Antonidas effectively.

Oh wait, Haricot got it. :P

I'm thinking Undertaker.
It's a cutesy 1/2 minion until it goes crazy, and you better hope you have a silence then otherwise gg.

Nerubian Egg possibly...?

Fellow Heartharena user. :D

I still can't get it. But I suppose we're close now.

I think I got it.... Mind Control Tech.

Hogger too might be a possible candidate.

Actually now that I think about it, I believe it might be Cenarius.
He fits the ancient theme. His literal attack soundbite is "For the Ancients".
Furthermore, his new attack of four could stand for the 2 2/2 Treants he summons, plus that up and you got yourself a four.
The new mask might be the other ablility of Cenarius, in which he grants +2/+2 to all your minions, thus giving them a mask...?

Cairne Bloodhoof? The mask is Baine and he has 4 attack plus he's been in the game for a long time?

Don't quite understand "the new power of four thing", I mean if it's attack, then how exactly new. Hm.
He also mentioned that it's hinting to another card, and we still don't know what that card is.

Oh. :O I think you got it mate.
0
Damn, really thought that , that was it. Thinking real hard here.
Give me another hint, haha. :P

Majordomo Executus.
"He who was ancient when the world was young!"
This is the answer, I know it is!

Gruul?
Not sure at all.

Would love your to hear feedback on this, thanks.
