What is the point of this?

That's great! I wish you good luck for the rest of your climb

Hi, I am not sure if the mistake isn't on my side, but I can't see the first 7 cards.

Easy there champ. Take a few steps back and reflect on your approach. Is it new, different and innovative? I have seen many cards like yours before, so what exactly makes your approach stand out? What is the benefit of using your approach instead of the established one? So far your cards have a low effort meme look and feel.
If you submit your cards to us forum users, who have a certain aesthetic standard, you got to expect some backfire. Rather than pitying yourself as the misunderstood genius, make yourself understood. Show us what your style is and why it is beautiful, fresh and cool. I don't think anyone is opposed to that.

Quote from CaptainKaulu >>Trying to stick to "broken" cards rather than just "very good, meta-deck cards" ...
- Branching Paths
- Call to Arms (now nerfed)
- Possessed Lackey (now nerfed)
- Dark Pact (now nerfed)
- Corridor Creeper (now heavily nerfed, and still a good card)
But almost half the cards in the set are very good, meta-deck cards, and that's a very high percentage compared to any other set except Naxxramas.
None of these cards listed were "broken". They didn't break the game. They were very powerful, yes. They were meta-defining, yes. Broken? Not in the slightest. People tend to overuse that term without realising what it truly means.
So, none of them were broken, which is why they dominated the meta so utterly and were subsequently nerfed, (And some cards still see play!)
What kind of logic is that? Does a card have to crash the game everytime your opponent plays it for it to be broken?

Well, you see, first there was Mean Streets of Gadgetzan. And the community saw that there were Jades. And there was much reeeeeeeeeeeeeing
Then, there was K&C. And turn 6 voidlords plus 8 life happened. And Doomguards charged for masters with full hands. And there was much reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeing.
Father Blizzard saw the reeeeeeeeeeeeing and saw it was bad. And Father Blizzard spake, saying, "Let there be a reasonably powered set with powerful but non-game breaking REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I agree that MCT is a big offender. Ppl can tell you to play around it, but that is exactly the problem. Why should you? Why should you be punished for creating a board advantage for yourself? Why should you be artificially constrained by the game to give your opponent breathing room to flip the game? I can understand comeback mechanics, but this is just stupid design, plain and simple.
Obviously we all learnt to deal with this crap, but that doesnt mean we wouldnt be better off. That being said, i dont believe they will remove it completely, but it should be put in a higher tier bucket to appear less often.

Holy actual fuck. The wording this expansion is on another level of retardedness. Fuck. Seriously team 5...how can they be so fucking inconsistent. 'This', 'Someone else', the Discover and draw confusion of Masters Call, the summon effect of Totemic Smash and the bug of Ice Walker with the mage spirit. I can guarantee this will confuse the average player . And that's just this expansion.
Their inconsitencies in wording is a real pet peeve of mine. Love the game been playing since beta, not gonna quit over this, but fuck me sideways.
Fuck.

Sleeper for combos in the future possibly

The fact that you get XP based on how many minutes of a match took place incentivizes people to rope to get more XP. Some of the quests are locked behinds modes you might not play / cards you might not have (like play 10 Old Gods) and are necessary for progression. Even with this new gold addition, you're still getting much less gold than you did with the previous system, despite needing to put in more time. Not to mention much of the gold that makes for this reduction is at the end of the pass, meaning if you don't clear your way to it, you're at a much greater loss. We still have no actual details on what these seasonal XP boosts will be like. This is all just from the top of my head too.
And all of this doesn't even take into account the greater discussion that Hearthstone, as a game is simply way too expensive. Set aside the battle pass, you still can spend 80 bucks every 3 months on a pre-purchase bundle and still feel like you're not even close to completing a set. That just feels wrong.

This essentially changes nothing. They didn't address any of the major issues that people had with the system, just that they now have a "wealth of feedback". Will this feedback be utilized in any meaningful way or will the community just get a golden star while Blizzard sweeps this under the rug hoping that this band-aid fix is enough.

Happy to report I got to Diamond 10 with this with an 88% winrate (7-1). Was stuck around mid-Plat for a long while on launch day and this helped me pass that bump. Will see how it fares higher into Diamond, thanks.

Yeah because they'd have separate expansions for different dragonflights...

Or like just run Silence.

Your argument is quite weak. You're saying that in the future, Blizzard might change their policy, and for that reason, you should be allowed to break rules? That's literally not how the world works my friend. With your argument, I could just not post any art on the cards at all, and then say that in the future Blizzard might change their policy to remove art from cards altogether. Not very sensible is it?
Personally speaking, I dislike cards with real-life art. Even if the effect is good, the art is often something that conveys the lore of the card, and while that is obviously something that should come 2nd to the actual effect, it does have value in my eyes. Also simply adding realistic art doesn't make your work 'different' or 'innovative' by any means.

I think you've got a point. It can be a good play at the start and after board clears. If nothing else, it will eat up some spell or some damage anyway, which basically is like gaining Health.

Made this for the Custom Hearthstone sub-reddit. Thought I'd post it here too. Feel free to critique balance and/or design.
