I'm a returning player after some time. Power creep is a bit rampant it seems. The mage card Wildfire is a two cost add 1 damage to hero power which is equal to the upgraded hero power. Justicar is 6 mana and Baku requires an only odd card deck. Am I missing something here, or is this just a 2 mana upgrade hero power? Why even play wild when the old cards just get replaced? Not intending to rant, I'm just quite confused in all honesty. I'm not sure if I'm missing something.
Yes, power creep is rampant, but Baku the Mooneater and Justicar Trueheart in mage are not really a good examples for reasons already mentioned.
The curious thing is that Wildfire is a VERY good card in Genn Greymane mage, but even that deck is on the very edge of being viable.
I also expected Wild decks to stay viable longer than they are. Right now, the best decks are big priest, secret mage and swarmy agressive decks, but there is a fairly large pool of oddballs thrown at you, which makes the exerience reasonable.
