This is the control-ish paladin deck I've been using to ladder this month. Just like everyone here, I was toying with the idea of a dragon paladin and doing my best to make it work. Clearly, stuffing every card into the deck just because it had the word dragon did NOT work.
I created the deck below and it's been doing quite well against almost everything I face (Rogue is still a bi**h if you don't draw the heals and taunts but meh, lol). It's not really a dragon deck per se, but most times you WILL see your dragons and they WILL do work.
I'm still playing with this and might make changes but take a look, give it a try and tell me what you think! :)
Black Knight is really only good in a Druid heavy meta. I'm not saying you won't get value since most decks run at least 1 taunt of some sort, but for example...against mech mage all you'll kill is an Annoy-o-Tron. Against hunter you'll only get value if you find a hunter running Houndmaster, otherwise it's a dead card.

Actually, killing an Annoy-o-Tron has gained me tempo and saved me from wasting damage quite a few times. I don't run Muster in the deck so usually do not have that many cheap minions to break the shield and kill the tron.
And even at ranks 10, 9 and upwards I have been facing quite a few decks that run taunts. Priests with their Deathlord, Rogues/Warriors/Paladin that usually have a Belcher or 2, ramp Druids, and even getting a kill on Argus taunts in zoo is sometimes useful if you don't have board clear.
I agree that it CAN be a dead card, and should be subbed out if you don't find yourself facing many taunts. For now I'm still finding the utility (and at worst a 4/5 body when you're desperate) pretty useful. It's only one card though, and always replaceable with stuff like Sylvanas or Loatheb at a similar mana spot.
Thanks for the feedback :)
