I am having trouble installing it as well. I'm using windows 7 and have tried to run it as admin without success. The log file is to large to post so should I pm it or should I make multiple posts?
I don't see the point of this tool. I can see my cards perfectly well in the HS collection and my Excel spreadsheet. Besides, Sadly I have them all anyway (apart from a couple of TGT legendaries). What good does it do to upload it to Hearthpwn? And where is the guarantee that there's no additional data, outside out the standard HTTP-request/response header data, is being submitted?
Sigh. The post was about wondering what the point of the tool is. But hey, go ahead and install your SharpZibLib. It's perrrrrfectly safe! Have fun!
I mean the point is made pretty clear on the front page. It auto does everything, a lot of users do not want to do it by hand. Also the big deal is the intergration with all the decks on the site, that is the main reason
But as stated above, the tool is to make it easy, you can do it all by hand on the site. Just go to your collection in your profile (top right)
However, as mentioned, Ben Brode 'overruled' this in a direct reply to the legality of tracking programs.
Have fun explaining that to GMs if your account is banned. "Ben Brode said it was okay to run programs that use DLL Injection." All their snooping applications see is a program inserting itself into the HS process (or packet sniffing). They have no idea if the program is hostile or benign. And you're assurances that everything is on the up and up won't convince them otherwise.
We have been using it internally for months, We make sure to only do things that fall in the terms of what blizzard said is okay for hearthstone tracking :)
I'd like to hear that from Blizzard. When it comes to DLL Injection, they don't track what an app is doing, simply that it is doing something. And they assume all somethings are hostile. You're banned. Then you have to spend weeks trying to get your account back.
Security is a huge priority for us and we totally understand your concerns. We assure you that Innkeeper doesn't currently hook or inject into Hearthstone. There is absolutely no worry of anyone being banned by using it.
I'd also like to note that we've been using the application for months internally without issue and that we've been cautious to follow Blizzard's publicly released statements on what applications can and can't do. We too like our Hearthstone accounts and don't want to see anything bad happen with them!
The rest: Mmm... Bliz are decent people who, if they felt there was a worrisome aspect, would likely issue some sort of warning. Curse has been handling things hooked to Bliz games for a long time, and anything problematic would likely be accidental. That said, just addressing the aspect of software running on my machine, I agree that some transparency would be preferable.

Hey, I should copy my statment i made over on reddit to here! ---
"
We are not doing injection and we are not doing hooking.
We have been using this for months ourselfs, the whole team. We made sure to stay in line with everything blizzard is okay with when it comes to tracking.
I can very comfortably say it's safe.
If you still don't feel okay using it, that's fine. That is why we let users put their collection in by hand.
We simply want the best possible user experience there is"

If it helps, we are doing "out of process memory reading"
We wanted to just be clear on what we are not doing. We also don't inject, hook, or packet capture. We don't interfere with hearthstone at all.
Without asking for your delicate secrets ;) and, as a hobbiest programmer-ish and perhaps this will help settle some minds for you - "out of process memory reading": So, Windows-slash-an-OS has a variety of ways to push memory around just for gits and shiggles, caching and memory files and whatnot. Often the data for "software actively running 'elsewhere'" can be found in a source completely disconnected from the active software and the data that software is actually accessing "live". You're totally benignly accessing one of those sources?
Or in other words, you're not accessing the student's report, you're accessing the disconnected photocopy of the draft that was relevant about a minute ago. Something made possible totally due to the way the OS works, and not much to do with the HS process at all. About right?
I tried Innkeeper and after logging in it recognizes me starting hearthstone. But after trying to sync my collection it says "There was an error". I am at work currently and can't post the log, but i will do in the afternoon if neccessary. But maybe the issue is solved then anyway. Anyways, if working as described, this is the thing i've been waiting for! Thanks a lot.

Wow! Fantastic feature guys, I'm looking forward to the Mac version so I can finally move off hearthhead.
Well met!
I like this feature. Great work.
Working great for me on Windows 10 and Google Chrome. Paranoia from some in this thread was quite entertaining.
Same problem as yesterday, i even uninstalled innkeeper to get it again, restarted the computer
This never goes further than that. I open innkeeper first, then battle net then Hearthstone. Any idea to actually make it sync? windows 8.
Is this available for Android players?
SO HAPPY! Been wanting this for AAAAGES! Now I can remove all the Imagr photos

Could you do two things for me.
1) could you PM me you log file found in %localappdata%\innkeeper\logs

On topic: I can confirm it's working in FF.

I guess by title I can stick this here on topic, since its getting attention and I'm not sure where else to put it:
I'm wondering about "Decks I can craft" and how I make HP aware of what amount of dust I am willing to work with (or have). Am I missing something?
Im excited to try this, looks good!
EDIT: we ask to PM cause the normal forum posts can't hold the complete log text. :)
If you see a bad post on the forum use the report function under it, so I or someone else of the moderation team can take care of it!
our servers are hit hard right now , and all syncs are failing. Ive updated the front page post. we are working on getting it up and running again
Also to one of the posts above, im not sure what you are referring to saying that it does not work in chrome. I only use chrome!

My computer identifies it as a Malware (Trojan). What do I do?
