Do you guys think any good amazon coin deals will come for the pre-purchasing of KotFT or should we just purchase it now? Right now 50k coins is going for $45.50, which is not much of a saving compared to other times.

You mean 5k coins for $45.50. It's not the best price at the moment, just last week it was around $40 for 5k coins, I should've jumped on that while I had the chance. KotFT is still a couple weeks away, so I'll wait and see if any amazon coin deal comes up before pre-purchasing.
I have bought last Friday here in Germany 10k coins for 71 euro. One day earlier from that they were 85 if I remember correctly. Several days later on Prime day I found a huge deal that was 35,5 Euro for 10k coins. From all these I've bought the preorder with 5k and I have another 15k waiting for the expansion. So instead of 200 euro, that it should have costed, I paid only 100 for it. That's a huge deal. But as far as I have found out, in Germany there are the best deals. I haven't seen any other country with cheaper amazon coins deals. But sometimes you might find some sales or something.
It's an interesting place to be in with Amazon Coins right now. What it really all boils down to is whether or not your already have preordered the expansion and gotten the deal. While you might want more a better deal in regards to the coins, the preorder deal is still pretty strong with the 40 packs and all. If you've already gotten the deal, I'd still say it's worth it to check daily. I've recently come on to Coins for all of my games (FFBE, SW, Hearthstone). Ultimately, it's what you can afford and what you already have that should help you decide.

For my Amazon Coins, I have standardized everything and done my transactions here at: https://www.amazon.com/Amazon-500-Coins/dp/B0096E8EPY/ref=green_alb_hsoco3. Granted, it isn't always a deal but at least having a consistent place to get virtual currency which can be used for procuring things within the Hearthstone app has been a blessing.
One of the key things to recognize is that virtual currency will fluctuate in value due to supply/demand so it's a matter of timing just to find when it's the best to pounce and click on the button to get the coins. But keeping tabs will help out substantially with that phase.

I agree with you there. It really helped if one got the pre-order expansion and this just consolidates everything together now.
That's a perfect way of putting it. Also, thank you for posting that link for convenience. I think it might also be worthwhile to keep an eye out when other games that use coins (Final Fantasy Brave EXVIUS, Summoners War, Game ofWar) are about to have huge updates. That may also lead to a strong sale in Amazon Coins.

No doubt. I hope that Amazon Coins expand to MMO's as well such as WoW, SWTOR, etc. so that we can have a one-stop shop for everything in game :)

Oh absolutely! I really would love it for FFXIV as well. All in all, I'm super thankful Amazon has come up with this method of payment. It's made everything so much more convenient.
Well, the price of the 10k coin bundle went up from $88 to $89 (Amazon US). That kinda sucks because you hardly save anything versus just buying packs from the in-game shop. You have to pay coin tax whenever you use coins to purchase packs (around 350-450 coins on top of the 5k coins to buy a 40 pack). So if you want to buy 80 packs, you will need approx 11k coins. $89 for 10k coins + $9.70 for 1k coins = $98.70 Whereas if you purchase 80 packs directly from Blizzard at $49.99 per 40 packs, that's $99.98.
Wow, an incredible savings of $1.28 if you use Amazon coins!!! I have a couple of Amazon gift cards ready to spend on Amazon coins, but I'll be waiting for the price to go down (or at least a coin-back deal) before spending them.
Can confirm, it looks like a 10% coin back deal. Too bad I've already pre-purchased. I hope the deal is still available once I'm able to spend my coins on Frozen Throne packs.
Where do you see that info? I checked Amazon website, and it looks the same deal to me.
You won't see it on the Amazon coin purchase page, but rather in-app (Hearthstone) when you're choosing your payment method while purchasing packs. You get 10% coins back. Kind of a "meh" deal tbh because of coin tax. I got the welcome bundle for 499 coins, paid 30 coins on top of that because of tax, then got 50 coins back. The 10% coin back deal doesn't count the extra coins you spend on tax.
Do I need to use the Amazon Underground? Or will the regular Amazon app store work? I can only use the Genymotion emulator, and so I'm not sure how I would set up the Underground on it.

Coin-back deal is live now.

You need amazon underground to download hearthstone from it. No idea how it works on an emulator though
