What do you consider to be the single worst ability in the mode?
I'd like to nominate Sky Admiral Rogers' Firing Position. While I could see its PVP uses, it's an absolute clunker, and I'm not just saying that because I'm currently being annoyed by her Task 17, where you have to kill 40 enemies with it (OK, maybe I am).
At Rank 5, it deals 25 damage to all enemies that have acted before this ability (not nothing to any that have acted after), but at speed 6, that's a huge ask. On top of that, this stinker even has a cooldown.

Just use Bru'Kan's Muddy Footing in Admiral Roger first and she'll the last to act.
The worst ability for me is Lady Anacondra's Nightmare Viper. Seriously, 15/15, no taunt or rush, no adicional effect, very slow? Yes, yes.
Nightmare Viper becomes an absolute unstoppable unit in long fights.
..as for using Brukan with Rogers, while that may be useful for the purpose of completing her task, how is that in any way redeeming the ability itself? You're wasting another merc's turn just to make the ability not suck. I can't think of any scenario where you wouldn't just be better off replacing her with another merc that has a more reliable AoE.
Vanessa's makeshift weaponry seems utterly abysmal. Mutanus's Devour takes far too much to actually get going with the tokens from other murlocs. Sylvanas' Reclaimed souls feels like a huge tempo loss late.
From a PvP perspective Sky Admiral Rogers is a strong unit and all 3 of her abilities are useful. And Reclaimed Souls is the reason to run Sylvanas in token comps (like ones with Kazakus). Although it is true that it is never worth the trouble in PvE.
For the worst abilities I would agree with Nightmare Viper of Lady Anacondra and I would also add Blessing of Protection from Uther
yeah.. I don't think I've -ever- used Devour aside from a task forcing me to, and yeah.. I sorta really don't see the point to Makeshift Weaponry.. so those are two good nominees.
Reclaimed Souls is pretty much a pure PVP ability, and it's particularly shining now in the current broken Trigore/Kazakus pvp comps.
..and I'm seriously NOT believing all of you sleeping on Nightmare Viper, even in PVP. Before the current hopelessly broken meta, the viper was often THE reason I'd win matches with my beast comp.
Obviously worst offender is Vanessa vanCleefs 2nd ability.
An attack you can only use after using a combo attack several times, that costs you attack, that rarely, if ever, does more damage than Thralls Lightning Storm and can't be really spammed unless you trinket the hell out of it, all that in an already weak character?
By the way, even if not by a long shot as bad, I think Warchief's Order deserves a spot. Terribly slow, and since you're putting him in orc builds anyway, you're better simply spamming "For The Horde!". Only use I found it was buffing the Banner in the Leeroy chain of contracts.
After further review.. Makeshift Weaponry is the absolute worst. It really needs to do double, if not triple the stolen attack to have any point at all.
I love venessa, especially post buff that was in 23.0. but I never use makeshift weaponry, I almost feel like maybe she should give back the stolen attack when she dies unless you spend it on makeshift weaponry? and/or as stated above it should do a multiple or a base level of damage (e.g. "deal 10 damage + stolen attack to all enemies, resets stolen attack" or something like that.). at least her other two abilities are really fun.

They're in the running, for me.

Maybe the problem is the ability is used without a build.
Devour has uses with summoner builds, such as murloc summoning, and Kazakas golems and Tamsin shadow Demons.
