It is perfectly understandable people discuss even the exact details of the exploit. Looking at the salt thread, justified complains and other unattended concerns, people feel left behind, not taken seriously and ill threated by Blizzard concerning various things like bad card design, asymmetry and lack of balance to name a few. Nerfs taking months before it is done, getting back at Brode and consort whenever possible is a natural respons.
Pulling ranks here now makes little sense as Blizzard responded with a overwhelming show of force, feeling ill threated, while the community in turn can do little to force Blizzard to do a better job. As always those in power and with them those who linger/profit in the shadow of their might are always right. Power becomes a justification in itself, hiding behind "rules and regulations."
Toast is being treated very harsh. It's Greek mythology all over again, when the gods punished the people for just being human.
I understand where you are coming from, but our fan site has always had a zero tolerance policy for the discussion of subjects that are against Blizzards terms of use. It's a matter of respect.
Also, Blizzard has always displayed strong shows of force against anyone that uses exploits. Always. I've heard of entire guilds being banned in WoW for some of their members using an exploit against a raid boss. They mean business, and Toast really ought to of known better.
Toast does do some really great work, but it's not exactly altruistic. He gets a ton of views on his Twitch and YouTube accounts for putting up content that shows bugs. That means he is gaining financially from making publicly available instructions on how to perform game breaking bugs.
Blizz won't discipline you if you stumble into a bug, especially if you report it to them directly. What it will do is is take action against you if you're clearly taking advantage of an exploit (i.e. keep doing it for free wins or gold or whatever) or you're putting out how to perform the exploit for many others to take advantage of. Toast saying "Oops, I concede though" doesn't stop the dozens (if not more) of people who see him perform an exploit who then boot up HS and go try and rank up with it, which in a lot of ways is more damaging than the isolated exploiter trying to take advantage solo.
Playing since 1 June 2014.

Have they fixed this yet?
Must have been fixed right away, I tried it shortly after watching Toast's VOD replay and it didn't work.
