Well Met! Has anyone else come to the realization recently that there are far too many auto-include cards in the game? That is, cards that, when building a particular archetype, there's no real reason NOT to include it into the deck. Imp Gang Boss and Darkshire Councilman in Zoolock, Mana Wyrm and Flamewaker in Tempo Mage, Truesilver Champion and Aldor Peacekeeper in Paladin, etc.
But of course it's not just these few cards. Many tier 1-2 decks can have as many as 28 of the cards in the deck considered auto-includes. There's simply not enough time in such a fast meta to promote cool minion/spell synergies unless it means only one thing: Lethal Damage.
I discussed this concept on this week's episode of the podcast, and am curious what the community thinks. What are your thoughts?
