Because you can hang out with all your secret pally cancer buddies! YAYYYY! WHO SHOULD WE ANNOY NEXT?
Please. Annoy BBrode so he nerfs your fucking deck 6 feet under.
Why mods don't do anything about posts like these on this forum is beyond me... It's toxic and insulting and against all commonly accepted rules of interacting with fellow humans. However, if I make a penis euphemism it's a whole other story involving a warning and points against me...
Honestly this isn't even really a game at this point. It's pretty much auto pilot RNG roll you win. There isn't much of a game here to really even call a game. Very little decision making on who wins. Game is too simple for that and it just creates the illusion that you're actually playing a game.
Trash AF expensive phone game you play for 5 while taking a dump and by play I mean you dump your mana curve on the board... Much fun game.

If I was reading this 2 months ago, I'd be in total disagree.
But now, as it makes only a year I play, I now realize that is true.

Yet you have made an account on a forum for the game that you have been on since 2014 discussing it? If you hate it so much just leave.
Just means I've played it enough to know that it's pure trash. There is no game here.
The game is fun for people who play with with zero expectations while taking a dump and people who play it seriously enough to get high legend ranks every season. It's terrible dogshit bordering on masochism for everyone in between.

I agree. The game is terrible for people who take this game seriously enough to copy decks from this website expecting to get legend while being terrible, and serious enough to post thread after thread crying about (insert deck here) but are somehow still bad enough at this game to not be able to hit legend.
Oh wait, I just realized I do not feel the least bit sorry for these people. My bad.
Would love to hear other people's opinions on this. For newer players, does the game feel really enjoyable to play whether you win or lose? I remember I used to have a genuinely fun experience in every game, but don't know if that was just from the game still being new to me or if the game quality has significantly gone down.
For the longest time, the legendary grind in particular wasn't bad at all. Just play a fun deck, and hit legend playing casually with 85%+ win rate. But now even running a top deck, the grind to rank 5 feels painful (70% or lower even... at terrible ranks still). Arena has had it even worse. Previously, a skilled player could easily go infinite in arena, playing a mix of every class. But now there are significant balance issues between the classes (To the point where 93% of my opponents at 9+ wins have been Paladins this expansion...)
I'm not even mad about it, I'm just extremely disappointed. The game had SO MUCH potential to be great, but the skill factor just keeps being lowered while RNG gets bumped way up. Is there any hope of the game going back to what it used to be, or is it time to just move on and leave the dying game?
Even as a decent long-time HS player I have been becoming extremely bored with HS. I've stopped playing a lot, and only complete an occasional quest or two every few days. I don't have the patience to play ping-pong with my ladder rank anymore. I'm content knowing that my highest rank is Rank 4 and don't really have much of an interest in playing the game much longer, that might change if any new expansions/adventures are released but I doubt they'll hold my attention for long.
Not being salty. Just bored with the game right now. I don't particularly like netdecking or being pushed to play certain decks just because they're viable. It takes the fun out of it for me.
I think we're all pretty much in the same boat. If you've been around this game long enough your perspective has most likely adapted and begun to influence your decision on whether or not you even want to log in for that daily, right?
I no longer look at Hearthstone as a skill-based game with the outcome of each match being determined by the player with the most correct mulligans and plays. Rather, I see it as a game that is and always has been greatly influenced by some form of RNG. After thousands of games I've become less naive to this fact. Occasionally there's that slight urge to play Hearthstone but it's now accompanied with an inner dialogue, "do you really want to roll the dice and chance being frustrated with something that is completely out of your control?" More often than not the answer is hell no and I find something else to do.

Pretty much this. We want it to be some awesome game, but it's barely even a game at all.

You assume too much, friend. A lot of people in this thread are posting the same negative opinion of the state of the game. Chances are at least a few of us aren't terrible. A few might even be better than you! Your bad indeed.
Honestly at first, the game was filled with energy and sparks. But the more you play the more boring and grindy it gets. The morelegends you need, the more gold you need. I have played since beta, but stopped playing during GvG release and Blackrock, and still have to save up gold to finish up LoE and Blackrock. This takes ridiculously long. The meta certainly does change, but the amount of cards being released aren't enough.
It's really hard to put into words...the game just lost its flame, I suppose.

Having every card doesn't do anything to make this into a game.
It doesn't feel like my now two years experience with this game is the slightest rewarding. My understandings of "value", mechanics and such is rendered completely useless due to the influx of unbalanced cards that decks are being built around. i.e Mysterious Challenger. I remember the beta days where people played whatever they found fun, doing their own things and still hitting high-ranks and even legend.
But now, too many overpowered cards exist and people are "obligated" to play with them. Limiting the meta to only what counters these specific cards.
Every loss to Face Shaman, Face Hunter (Okay face hunter is not the slightest good right now but anyways) and Secret Paladin have made feel incredibly bad at this game, even though it is not always my fault.
Each class has one viable deck, besides warlock which has 2. One combo (freeze, also rare), no aggro, two control (handlock, cw, both rare) almost every deck is tempo/midrange. Literly 95% of deck are the same type, and matchups are all midrange v midrange, and are all tempo decks. Absolutely no versatility in decks. Please bring back HS the way it was at naxx, where every class had on average 2-3 good variants.
This game was 100% fun for me when I was F2P and all I did was do my daily quests, the occasional arena run, and tried to complete my collection.
It didn't get frustrating at all until I started trying to get legend every month. I don't think the game is any less fun (I actually think LoE did a lot to make the game more fun) but I feel if your approach and goals for the game change, it could affect how much fun you're having.
I was terrible at the game when I started around S15 barely scraping Rank 15. now nearing the end of S22 I hover around Rank 4.
I say this to say the people that don't lose interest in the game are the ones that are improving. If you're bad and have stayed bad, you probably have gotten bored. If you're a legend player every season, you're probably wondering what the point of going legend is if you're not Top 100 Legend to score WCS points. Players that are always improving never get tired.

Is Hearthstone becoming less fun?
yes, it is. with each and every expansion/adventure we get more and more bullsh*t rng cards that ruin the 'fun'.
I agree with previous posters.

If only competent rebuttals were as easy as 10char. Lol pays to dream I guess.
