First it was nerf Patron. Now its nerf Secretadin. Why do people play all these competitive decks in rank? Gee, maybe because they want to win. "Back in beta, before ranked it was fun to play." I have good news for everyone. There is a place to play Hearthstone and have fun. It's this special option called casual. I have all the competitve cards and can play all the top tier netdecks, but i spend most of time enjoying playing my own decks in casual. Ladder grinding is not the only way to play. Just sayin.
^ To an extent I agree, but the problem is that you often find tryhards using meta-decks in casual mode, which can be annoying after a while. Personally I'm usually playing gimmick decks and whatnot - and sometimes you can match with someone who's doing the same and it's pretty fun to see some unique ideas.
I've only played since February but I'm still having fun. It sucks to lose to RNG but I guess that's what the game's showcasing. Things happen in HS that couldn't work in a physical card game. The discover and deathrattle's and secrets.
I don't like losing in 5-6 turns either, but I think agro has a place in the game. It's a way to play. Just like you may like Control, someone else does like Face decks. I like all varieties.
No one is forcing you to play. Take a break, play other games. it's all good.

A lot of people in here not good enough/can't tech a deck to beat Secret Paladins (bot or not) This just in, if your favorite deck aint working in the meta you kinda have to change (yes you control warriors)
Truth that yeah the game is probably less fun for them but my bet is for most that if they were beating the deck they ran into a lot theyd be just fine with the game. The meta evolves. Secret Paladin wasn't always the deck after Mysterious Challenger came out. It was hugely popular, but then quite unpopular for a bit.
And casually hitting legend with a winrate of 85? Must of been nice to hit #1 each and every season you played.
I agree with the OP, I have been playing less and less since TGT. I thought I would play more with new expansion (which I bought all wings) but I have not even finished the adventure. Maybe I just needed a break.....
I would have to say that I find the game has been really fun for me so far, it has been a grind to get to higher ranks, but isn't that kind of the fun of the game? I think that the RNG of the game is what makes it fun, you can win or lose on a bad outcome but you are playing the odds. And people might be saying things like discover is so varied it hurts the game, but really I have found that I only ever enjoy the results of discover, I have had more games are decided after round ten than all the other seasons I can remember and I think that is a good state to be in
I'm a new player been playing 2-3 months started right around when warsong was nerf and I have tons of fun playing at around rank 20-15 I love the variety of decks sure I face a lot of the same ones but not enough to bother me even face hunter doesn't really bother me (anymore) at least death is quick, lol.
I think hearthstone has became more fun since loe and will continue to do so as more cards and play mechanics are introduced.
When I start to get frustrated with it, I usually take off for a few weeks and complete only enough to get the monthly card back. That bit of a break usually gets me back into enjoying the game and I've been playing since beta.
It's becoming less fun for me, but that is because I'm finishing my grind to get all 9 golden heroes. After that I'll play sparingly or not at all. That should keep it fun for when I do play, but right now it just isn't.
Yesterday i qued up vs 4 face hunters in a row with my reno lock, started with the coin and had Reno + Anitique Healbot in my starting hand each time. It felt like justice. Beautiful, beautiful justice.

Ever since Reno Jackson brought sexy back I'm enjoying Hearthstone. LOVE me some Renolock.

Iron Juggernaut
Someone please help me finding fun and skill?
3 turns, 3 cards played, wow. Genius.
Meh I'm just playing mill rogue and having a blast. Don't even care if I lose. Try having fun some time.
hi I lik to read what others say on internet, but not if actually have to read

Of course a game is getting less fun the more you play it.

Honestly I find the game fun whether i win or lose tempo mage is just my deck, I always find it fun to play.
Boom Bots' death rattle deals 1-2 damage.
Piloted Shredder is a 3/3.
Mysterious Challenger is a 4/6.
Suddenly, the game becomes much more fun.

I'm having quite a bit of fun still. Reno Jackson has really shit on aggro decks from my experience; I'm ecstatic!!
