Ive only been playing for 6 months and never got to play before all the nerfs were added but i still have seen some decks that look really cool but have either been nerfed, or just died. Do you think any of these decks have a chance at comign back at all?
Mill Rogue
Mill Druid
Murloc Warlock
Control Paladin(Hasnt exactly died but is close. Havent seen one in a while)
Im sure i missed some other ones, but i would love if some of these could make a huge comeback and make HS the not 100% aggro game it used to be.
Murlock Warlock... kind of the same story. Was popular back in beta but then died out and nobody actually considers that deck to be good since the release of the game. Needs new and good murlocs to be introduced in order to be viable. Murlocs as a tribe are conceptually flawed and thats why nobody runs them.
Control Pally. If the meta is slow the deck is good.
About Murlock Warlock: that deck was actually powered by blood imp that used to give an aura of +1 health to all minions. Once that was nerfed, the deck fell apart.
Healadin (control paladin) is one of the greediest control decks and is mostly an anti-control deck. Does well against handlock. The meta has to slow to a crawl to make this deck viable.
Tournaments are slow enough for them to show up... IF patron didn't rock it hard :P.
Control Paladin = Normal, non-secret paladin (usually refered to as midrange)
They're a bit similar, control paladin relied more on endgame, fatiguing the opponent and pressing the hero power a lot, it carried more healing and taunts than a typical mid-range pally deck, and also often used wild pyro (with equality).
It was a nice enough deck, completely demolished CW... but it gets raped so hard by GP that it has no place in today's meta.

Yeah the big problem is that murlocs aren't sticky so there's almost no way now that you'd ever have more than one murloc by turn 3-4 to buff with a lord, and even if you do, a shredder can take care of that.
BUt now cards like zombie chow, wyrmrest agent, cruel taskmaster, shielded minibot, muster for battle, unstable ghoul, northshire cleric, haunted creeper etc just shit on murlocs.

Mill decks were never a real thing.

I really hope deathrattle hunter comes back, of course without that cancer card undertaker. Feign death is too good to be a dead card.
Valar Morghulis
The only reason death rattle hunter was a thing was because of undertaker. Feign death was a dead card before the nerf.
I returned to this game much like how a recovering alcoholic can relapse.
Control Paladin= Healadin?

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice - Sneak Review! http://www.thepoxbox.com/challenges.php?id=batmanvsuperman
I'm still waiting for Tempo Rouge to make a comeback.
Waiting for Tempo Rogue and Control Hunter to return completely, not just some gimmicky 50% winrate deck.
