posted a message on Mechanics like Toki hero power to add Player Agency to RNG in Constructed? Y/N.

I believe that the monster hunt is not only a fun experienced designed to just be experienced, but a testing ground for new fun mechanic in hearthstone. Out of all the hunters, Toki bring a important mechanics that this game needed for a long time. Hearthstone has been filled with crazy amount of RNG for years, and a re-roll mechanic seems really interesting to be added to constructed. The idea is to measure the risk and reward, and if it is worth to pay a certain amount of mana/ a card to reroll in constructed. What is everyone thought about adding Toki's mechanic to Constructed so far?

4/2 divine shield is considered good enough stat. This is above the curve being 4/3. Wtf are you people smoking and the effect is good.

posted a message on Dragon Lord Hunter

A pretty pointless idea I am just throwing around, which might be able to be iterated on to become an actual deck. I've had some degree of success with it. The idea is just to fill your hand with dragons, then oozing Deathwing's death-rattle and fill your board with big dragons. A high-roller deck with big dragons. I tested mountain giant version, card generation version and aggro dragon version. This archetype doesn't really have too much concrete cards so you can build a lot of iteration of this and have fun.

Most of the tech card are decent vanilla minion even when they don't work, so. I've won against what I intended to win against and lost vs all priest/druid. Ran Secret mage out of steam, wasted their secret with cheap minion, gained armor against them and consistently removed Aluneth to prevent them from regaining steam. Ate up Ice blocks. Turn 1 Hungry crab into tidecaller, into turn 2 Ooze into 3/2 weapon, and then berserker and Whirlwind into that 4 mana summon 3 minion spell. This is just a joke deck that hate on aggro.

Jesus Christ though, if you seek to find meaning in a joke deck and feel the need to argue with people on every topic.

You build a board by using tempo tech card such as turn 1 hungry crab into tidecaller, Acidic swamp ooze turn 2 into a dagger or coined 3 mana weapon(Which would really hurt). If you hit anything with those, you berserker and whirlwind a bunch of stuff to win fast. Or sometimes the tech-card itself is a win condition when drawn, let say you just faced a secret hunter who played 4 secrets and get a 4 mana 6/8, this should help you win through either tempo or face race. Or if you fall behind vs aggro, you armor up and whirlwind their stuff down, and hope to run them out of steam. But as I said this is more of an artistic statement. A very high roll and specific approach to an unviable archetype of Tempo Warrior, but make it less midrange and completely abandon winning against Priest and Druid. But occasionally stomp on one of the decks I hate and destroy their will to live. It not about optimal win rate, it about destroying the soul of your opponent and make them press uninstall.

posted a message on Is Wild More "Fun"?

Wild is more fun if you like to build your own deck. Or if your favorite deck is no longer in standard. Simple as that. The meta snapshot and statistical site show a lot less skewed result and a much larger variety of decks. Also, the meta shift much faster and a good deck for a deck might not be good enough the next day. Which make it very exciting, because it is occupied by a pool of players with large card collection. So unlike Standard which people stick to budget effective meta aggro decks, you run into a larger variety of decks. If you prefer a slower pacing game, with more thinking, but require a large card collection go ahead. You can hit legend with your own decks much more easily there.

Lol, read the title. This deck is more of an artistic statement and expression of giving up. Rather than trying to impact the ladder in any way. Anyhow, it uses aggro as a win condition and is more focused on Murloc Paladin, Secret Mage, and Midrange Hunter. It not focused on everything, I did make it weak vs Priest and Druid. But it is true that I am not trying to achieve anything with this deck.

Yeah, that was kinda why I made it. Got tilted after not drawing techs against greedy play.

Rip, didn't even get any tech to work. Keep running into priests. I guess I need to play some meta deck into a good gating spot.

posted a message on Tinkmaster Overspark counters meta Priest and Warlock.

With both Big Priest and Control Warlock being a top tier deck atm, Tinkmaster Overspark is really strong. If they cheat out stuff like the 3/9 Warlock taunt or any Big Priest Minion. You can completely remove one of their win conditions. Heck, it even good to counter Rin if you are running a control deck. Doesn't matter if it gives them the big dinosaur sometimes, it still smaller than most big priest minions and doesn't give card generation when they revive it. As both of those classes focus on reviving their big minion, Tinkmaster is much stronger than silences in that scenario. Especially in classes without Hex or Polymorph.
