Ok I tried the card in casual. Total garbage. Only playable if you innervate it out, basically. Playing it on turn 3-4 is just too slow against everything.
Yeah I really don't see how you can play this card in hearthstone lol.
Against aggressive decks, they will just rush you down. Losing a turn just playing your 4 mana spell and losing your entire hand means they get so much board advantage that they win anyway even if you have 10 mana. You need some insane draw to come back.
Against contorl, even worse. Oh ok, you discard 5-6 cards and play dr boom? BGH. Go.
Doesn't help that every tryhard under the sun is just rushing casual with their gold patron warrior/ face hunter but whatever that's not a new problem lol

Unless you can play it before turn 4, I don't see how it is good. Seems like you have to hard mulligan for it and ramp to be successful, and then you need a lot of draw/cycle in your deck to refill your hand. Luckily for Druid, they do have some strong draw cards like Ancient of Lore and Nourish. Getting at least one Innervate and Astral Communion in your opening hand seems just about mandatory though, which makes it rather unreliable and inconsistent. Nevertheless, looks like a fun deck to play though, just not going to be competitive.
I think it's totally gonna be competitive. I mean seriously, how a deck that has big chances to win on T1 cant be competitive?
Even t4 play is ok, since it's 5 mana ramp. 5 mana. Ramp. It's huge. You need a several Tree of Life to compete with aggro decks, and that's all.
Because in the other 9 times out of 10 when you can't achieve the T1 or even T2 dream, you just have 2 dead cards and a really slow deck that gets out tempo'd and rekt. That's why it can't be competitive. T3 is probably the latest you want to play Astral.
T4 play sucks because over those 4 turns you've probably gotten a bunch of unplayable cards you're just going to end up discarding, and you've probably also been taking a lot of damage, particularly if your opponent is playing an aggressive deck. Moreover, your hand is empty and there's a good chance you have nothing on the board going into T5. When you don't have anything to contest the board until T5, you almost always just auto-lose.
Playing Astral early seems rather paramount to this deck's success.

I've played this card a lot in normal and ranked, its not good. It is BARELY worth in a deck revolving around it if you play it turn 4 or before, and after that is a dead card. Using it in a deck is total RNG, but it's still really fun, because if you do pull it off early and pull a few good draws after, it will win the game. DO NOT use in ranked, only casual because it's really fun ^_^

And the whole deck is cards that draw or create more cards!
But how does it end?
I won pretty hard, drew Nefarian next turn.

It becomes better in tiers with slower playstyles. You don't want that deck on rank 20 because there will be so much aggro.
Also, Forsen won with an Astral deck without using Astral once while he was at legend.
Give a man a Murloc, and he'll eat for a day.
Give him a Murloc Knight, and people will hate him.

It's an oddball card. Becomes worse in the low ranks, yet more effective in Legend because there is more control there.
