For as long as I can remember, I have always suffered from bad luck. It was painfully proven to my friend when he had me play his rare item character, with like an 80% chance of getting a rare item, and it took me an hour to get what he got in 10 minutes. I love this game and all, but the luck factor in it is just way too high for me. More often than I'd like, I find that the last 6 cards in my deck are the 3 cards that I need to win, the pairs stuck together. I try what I can to "make" my own luck with skill but that can only go so far when 60% of the game is based off random chance (don't quote my on that, no idea how much the percentage is really)
That being said, what do you all do to minimize the random "luck" factor?

Seriously though, fortune does not discriminate. If you seem to have bad luck over a large sample size, you are remembering the data in a biased way.
I have no way of knowing how you build your decks, but I do know a lot of times when people complain about bad luck it's just that their deck is poorly constructed. Don't put in multi-card combos unless you have a ton of draw or the combo pieces are good by themselves. Try to aim for consistency in your deck rather than shock & awe, etc.
Blaming bad luck is probably the first mistake you are making. Bad Luck is something ''relative''. Luck is not something consistent... you can't rely on it to explain that you are bad. Try to take a look at your misplays instead of saying he topdeck this card or he had the perfect counter to my play.
Ask yourself some questions ? Did you tried to play around some specific cards ? Did you had a follow-up plan in case of something happening to disrupt yours ?

I think I'm proof that it does. I have recorded what I have gotten in my packs since day 1. In my 557 packs I have unpacked a grand total of 1 legendary cards. Now on a 51 pack streak without one. It is absolutely consistent.
Recorded as in written down? Or did you record a video of it. Because I don't believe it either.
Ah, that's you? I've told you back there that your bad luck is "decently" bad, not anything too outstanding. However, I know that there are people that are generally unlucky, so I believe there's something you are being affected to have "bad luck". I'm in about the same boat, floating nearby, but I have to say that you need to live with that "bad luck" and search for good things coming from it, it withdraws once you start, but won't go completely away until (in my case) 7 years.
Luck is moment to moment, previous results do not affect the outcome of the current matter in question.
The mindset you are expressing is a common one, but associated with problem gamblers and the like, is unhealthy and actually pretty dumb.
There is no such thing as an 'unlucky person' - the guy that got struck down by lightning was unlucky in that moment - his previous episodes of bad luck in his life had zero impact of whether or not he would be struck by lightnining. Fate does not exist.
As HS is a game of mathematics, I encourage you to start thinking about things in those terms instead - actual odds of something happening or not - not luck.
