I made a shaman deck in arena, with good curve and picks. And what I face? A silly paladin with: 2 consecration, 2 equality, a lot of powerfuls minions and buffs like bless of kings. Okay, I can deal with that. Oh wait, Dr boom! GG Blizzard!! I don't have any legendary pick, and this idiot has Dr boom + double consecration- equality?
0-1
You'd have hated to meet some of the mage decks I drafted. mech heavy with 4 blastmages, 5 flamestrikes in another one, and a total of 8 Direct damage spells (frostbolts/fireballs).
It was like being a hunter, but for more damage.
I still remember when I drafted a mage deck with 5 FIREBALLS and 3 FLAMESTRIKES with a perfect curve. Win 9 in a row. Those times the limit of wins was 9 (closed beta). So funny.
Wait a second... A F*CKING FACE HUNTARD WITH GAZSRILLA + STEALTH? C'MON BLIZZARD. AND NOW A EXACTLY COPY OF A EBOLADIN? I'M OUT.
WENT on a winning streak from rank 20 to rank 6 with 3 stars in three days ... lost only 2 games in the process ,.. went on vacation for two weeks ... i come back to playing again happy i did most of the hard work at the start of the month so i could focus on finally getting past rank 6 (never been higher) .. and guess what .... i've been losing ever since i sat down in front of the computer ... is this a fucking balancing act or a fucking joke ? i lost 8 games in a row and now I'm scared to play ... fuck this fucking good mood highjack I'm experiencing the last couple of days ... one bad match up after another ... ( i hate patrons , refuse to play that shit deck ) .. my mojo isn't running ,its crawling and i lost my confidence ..
I hear ya, man. Been very streaky myself. I can do no wrong for several games in a row and then all of a sudden I can't do a damned thing at all. It's crazy out there. Very, very deck dependent as in you have to get the right matchup or you're so dead. It's a bloodbath in ranked at this time.
I just can't win with rogue!!! I either get matched again facehunter eboladin healadin or freeze mage, just whatever that's hard to win against. And of course never lucky in mulligan or topdecks. Tried both mech or oil rogue and about 3-7 score so annoying damn it. Rogue is my least played class along with priest though.
feels like every time I pick a deck, I get matched against one style of decks which counters it, and then AS SOON as I switch to a different style deck, I start getting matched against a different style of decks which can counter that one, but would have lost to my previous style deck...
I feel you same is happening today to me... I play mech or oil rogue and 75% my opponent is facehunter or eboladin. Of course with lucky topdecks and lethal 1 turn before me by lucky huffer+sergeant+hero power for 6 mana exact lethal or paladin going leeroy+bom because fuck you...
My opponents are just lucky today I have to quit, because I want to insult everyone who wins thanks to luck now and/or annoys me even more with bm emotes. I have some problems with my anger, but why does every fucking opponent have to be so fucking lucky? For example handlock had at 14 life hero power double molten sunfury and next turn healbot+ shadowflame. It's hard to stay calm if just everything works against you, your cards-bad topdecks vs lucky opponents. I give up now, best I can do. And when I get to meet these facetards most of them bm emotes to make me even more mad. Greetings traveler and thanks before huffer lethal mandatory...
Game 1: Hunter goes face. With everything. Never trades. Doesn't look back.
Game 2: I obliterate a Shaman
Game 3: Mage goes face. With everything. I gain board control. He continues to go face. He loses board control. I'm at 5 health. I hit his face. 18 cards left in his deck. He plays a minion, and I kill it. 17 cards left in his deck. I've got 7 health. He plays a secret. I play a minion to test, it's not mirror entity. I play Power Word: Shield: It was counterspell. I'm at 9 health. Topdeck Pyroblast.
Game 4: Warlock plays Summoning Portal after heropowering the two previous turns. I've got a 3/4 in play. I play Madder Bomber. My face. My 3/4. His Summoning Portal. My 3/3. My 3/2. My 3/1. Game over right there: He had 3 taunts in hand and continued to heropower until he had 7 cards on the board and 9 cards in hand while obliterating everything I played with fresh minions.

I don't even want to have the game installed on my computer right now.
To all people who make 8 missplays in game that are so bad they are visible missplays without knowing your opponent's hand. If you missplay twice a turn and win by winning 3.125% toss while playing cancer deck. It's fine - have fun, but please don't emote while doing it, like it was your skill, there might be someone on the other side who wants to punch you for it really really badly.

I know that feel bro. Losing streaks are among the most painful things ever. Just went from Rank 4 to Rank 8 on a single losing streak. It hurts so bad.
The key to not getting too upset is to remember that there is very little skill variance in this game. The computer determines the winner in a majority of games not only because of RNG-based effects but also because of card shuffle.
How am I suppose to win when I draw 2 doom guards and a Malganis with my void callers dead last in my deck?
So, i got golden paladin this morning. Scratching this from my bucket list. On to the next class: Mage, 116 wins away. I build a freeze mage (I know, my mistake for not building an aggressive Mech- or Tempomage) and go in (at rank 3).
First opponent is a Midrange Pally. Ok, quite an easy matchup to start with. All goes well, i get am ice block with my Scientist - Kezan Mystic. Haven't seen this card in AGES. Suddenly the matchup became quite a bit harder to manage to get through with only one ice block and bursting through one block of the opponent. I manage to do exactly this: Popping his block one turn before he could pop mine.
And then: SECOND FUCKING KEZAN. What the actuel fuck. Who runs double kezan in a meta stacked with combo druids and patron warriors? I get that you may want to run 1 instead of a kings or what ever, but two?
Rant over. Have a nice day sirs and madams.
People does not even care if it's freeze, mech or "tempo". All that decks are nasty and usually hated, by different reasons, but hated.
Sometimes the randomness of Shaman can really get to me.
Against other Shaman. I have 14 health, he has 7 health. I have two Crackles in my hand from bottom of my deck. I only need 7 damage. Don't have Spellpower Totem. Crackles hit both for 3 damage!!! He has still 1 health left. Opponent gets Spell Power totem, also has two Crackles. Both hit for the maximum of 7 damage. Wow...
I can live with that, sometimes things go your way and sometimes they don't. But turns out he was a douchebag. Sends a friendship request. I accept... I mean, one Shaman to another, right? He says that I'm a noob and that I should learn to play. In addition, he said he hoped this game has ruined the rest of my day...Then unfriends.
I thought Shamans were supposed to support each other? Is that guy compensating for something by acting like that? Now I'm sure never to accept a friend request again. I'm done with being nice.
He was probably just a kid having a bad day and needed to let out some agression. Don't let it get to you, there are nice and mature players out there too although maybe not a ton of them.
I've accepted 8 people and 3 of them turned out to be nice and just wanted to chat or play again with me. I assume the others added me to BM, but I never received the BM because I strategically wait with accepting until they will forget me so they wont bother me when I'm in a game. I accept requests when I'm not sure of their intentions, but if I beat someone hard or I know it's just gonna be BM I decline. That way I've ended up with some people I can at least do the Watch a Friend Play quest and a couple of friends too :P
And on topic, today I got queued up by a lot of bad matchups and went on a losing streak from rank 5 5 stars to rank 6. Took a break after a game against a mage so as not to tilt. He topdecked his second flamewaker when he had a spidertank and the 2/1 who gives spare parts on board against my Emperor. Killed his emperor immediately and this wasn't even late in the game but his missiles, spells and board with just one flamewaker ended up killing my emperor and taking me down from 19 health to 0 in one turn with enough mana left to drop a manaworm same turn for good measure. That wasn't fun.
