I was wondering whether you guys tend to specialise in one or two classes, or whether you diversify and build viable decks for each class.
I feel like I am too greedy because I have a deck for almost every class, and almost all of them will see play each week. I get bored if I keep using the same class and like to switch things up/test out a new deck every few matches. Obviously, this is not the best strategy for ranking up so I haven't reached Legend yet, but I do get more enjoyment out of the game.
Its not really that I get bored but its more I feel much more accomplished if I can win with 6 different decks at Legend rather than taking a Netdeck all the way. Lets me know I actually know what I'm doing rather than jumping on a Bandwagon.
Within what context? I've laddered exclusively with Warlock for my entire laddering history, but I'm always playing all kind's of decks in unranked or with friends. I enjoy at least one style of play from each class, so I always aim at having at least one deck per class.
mage,rogue,druid,paladin.. well pretty much multiclass.. for me diversity is very important.. also hearthstone is not as hard as for example WOW (where i was also multiclasser with more than 6 classes on 2,6+ rating arena) so multiclassing here is waaay easier and more forgiving..
Control and tempo priest, control pally, and face hunter (started this season to rank faster...dont hate me) and have tempo rogue, control shaman and budget control warrior for dailies, if i get mage or druid daily, its not my lucky day :>
Can you list your CW deck here please? Running budget version too and curious how is it looks like in your case.
I voted specialize because in ranked I usually play one of two classes (hunter, paladin), but I don't think you really have to choose between specializing and diversifying. I have a deck for most classes, except rogue, which I hate playing, and warrior, which I don't really have the right cards for.
I reroll quests until I get 60 gold ones and then I just play whatever classes those are on ladder until I get 5 wins. Almost level 60 with all classes now. Woo. Same in arena where I will play just about any class. Almost doesn't matter now since it's gotten so random.
Shaman is my main class but I have plenty of cards and can make most decks for any class. I don't have any trouble doing quests this way. I mostly try to climb the ladder playing shaman but maybe I shouldn't bother with all them damn zoo and face hunters running around. Oh well.
I tend to lean towards handlock for it's consistency, however I feel it's important to play the other classes in a rotation to keep an understanding of how they play and what their tendencies and nuances are. That and it also keeps the game from feeling stale.
My main decks are currently an aggressive Ramp Druid (a very flexible deck that doesn't really have any bad matchups), low curved Control Warrior (extremely strong against any kind of aggro, decent against midrange, but somewhat lackluster against control) and Handlock (strong against Midrange & Control, but not so much against aggro). These three decks are enough to have something decent to play no matter how the meta looks on any given day. Additionally, they don't rely on gimmicky combos, but nevertheless have great synergies, which means they're a lot of fun to play and nearly every match I feel like I won because I played good or lost because I did a critical mistake, not due to rng.
Though I do have quite a few other decks I regularly play if I feel like it: Control Priest, DR Priest, Midrange Shaman, Mech Shaman, Taunt Ramp Druid; These decks are decent & fun, but just don't perform quite as well as my three favorite decks.
Lastly, there are some decks where I have all necessary cards, but I don't play these decks unless maybe for dailies because they're boring, unreliable or both: Face Hunter, Rush Pala, Mech Mage, Zoolock
I'm not mentioning the decks that I think aren't just unreliable, but simply bad all-around.
So, I'd say diversify, though I definitely do have a "ranking". Quite honestly, I can't really understand people who only play a single kind of deck; Firstly, only playing one deck gets boring after a while. Secondly, nearly every deck has some bad matchups, and if these happen to be the flavor of the day, you're completely screwed.

I mainly just play handlock and control warrior.
Shaman all day.
I mostly use Warlock and Paladin, although I've found myself playing druid a little more lately.

So...how you guys complete other quests? Praying for lucky reroll?

Time is money, friend.
Druid. ramp, token, mill from time to time, late-game control pally and late-game shaman, I just don't like aggro decks at all
