I just got a weekly quest that asked to play 10 old gods. It's a hard quest to do even when I have the only 2 playable old gods (Y'Shaarj and Yogg) since most games you either win before you can play them or lose before you can use them, I can't imagine how hard to complete this is for F2P. So whatever I re- Rolled it . I got "Play 50 corrupt cards". So I went an played Clown druid. and went out of my way to play as many as I could (played at least 10), when the game was over I only got progress for 1 played card. Not sure if the quest refers to playing them in their uncorrupted versions (in which case its just stupid because why go out of your way to play the unintended version of a card) or if its just a bug on an already crappy system.
The corrupted card quest is going to be fixed, but at the moment, it is set to only count the uncorrupted versions. You are correct, this is not how it was intended to be.
As for the Old God quest, shouldn't be that difficult to complete in a week of play, but then again, you can reroll weeklies.

Enjoying Americans winning in the Olympics is forbidden because it is political. A 14 plus page discussion of state-sponsored lawsuits against a multi-national corporation based on harassment, discrimination, and wrongful death allegations is apparently not political enough to raise an issue.
you can re roll one weekly quest per day, to change the dumb quests like the play corrupted cards one and the old god quest, play demon hunter yogg, alongside one or two copies of blur, so you can play yogg and not die when you cast random shit with him
I actually just had the "play 10 old gods" quest this week, too.
I just played secret rogue with Yogg-Saron, Master of Fate at the back, saved my Shadowsteps and then did 3 Yoggs in 3 turns. I wasn't even behind on board, I just played them anyway.
It was actually quite fun.
The corrupted cards quest is dumb though, as previously stated.
