This question is really awkward to put in as the title but basically, what are some cards that you probably would have never crafted yourself but ended up getting from a pack and then being really glad that you did?
For me it is:
Dinotamer Brann -Obviously everyone thought it would be a good card when it was revealed but I thought it would only fit specific aggro hunters that I don't play but turns out just because of the singleton aspect of the card, it just fits in every version of it, even if it is not particularly aggressive. Ended up opening it from a pack on the opening day, it sat in my collection for a while and then I threw it in a wild reno hunter build I cobbled together and it ended up taking me to the highest rank I have ever been and now it is a must have in any singleton Hunter I create.
Lord Godfrey - Again, obviously a really good card but 7 mana removal legendaries are not really high on the list of "cool" legendaries to craft and since my collection wasn't really that impressive at that point, I was conserving dust for stuff like Loatheb, Malganys etc but ended up randomly opening Godfrey well into the expansion's lifespan and now it is in every single one of my Warlock decks and one of my favourite warlock cards.
Zerek's Cloning Gallery - I wasn't really excited for the legendary spells when they came out, since it was yet another thing that people who don't want to spend much money on this game would miss out on probably, since crafting 1 spell for the same amoutn of dust as for 1 legendary does not sound appealing at all. But I ended up opening this the same night as I did Lord Godfrey and I remember being really happy when I got it. It's a really good card for any resurrect shenanigans you want to do in wild and to me, this is definitely the number 1 example of cards that I would never ever craft but ended up loving it when I accidentally got it.
For me, I wanted Raid the Sky Temple. I didn't believe it would be powerful, just fun. On the first day of Saviours of Uldum, I opened it and in golden version and made a Highlander Quest Mage. Still till this day I use it in that deck, with the addition of dragons, of course.
Also got Heistbaron Toggwaggle, on one random day and it was a card I didn't know I needed because I'm F2P player with little collection, but I pieced some cards together into a deck and it was a missing piece.
Others are Zephrys, Dragonqueen Alexstrasza and Tess.

Lol all of your "Other" cards are the ones I crafted on day 1 lol. They just seemed super fun off the bat and I only got a little disappointed by Tess, just because the meta is too fast for it to be good.
It's awesome but I cannot climb with it because of the prevalence of retardo decks like Embiggen Druid and Galakrond Rogue though >: (
I love that card, I ended up just crafting it and it's very fun but I would not recommend crafting it to someone who is just starting and lacking legendaries. It only has a few things it can turn into that are really OP, like Hireek and the new Warlock guy who increases your hand size to 12 and draws you 4 cards. Other times it can just be a good 5 drop but any card that shifts in your hand is not very reliable

For a while there, Zerek master cloner was a fun card that I never thought I'd craft. It was fun to buff it
