posted a message on Why is this new SOU so god damn HARD?

It did seem super hard and unfair at first, I agree. I got to the boss right with my first try but then lost pretty quickly and with my second and maybe 3rd try I didn't even get to the final boss again but once you play a little and unlock most of the stuff, it becomes pretty easy and after I got over the hump, I've only ever just got to and beaten the plague lords with my 1st try, even with relatively bad decks.

Just keep on trying mate, it just seems hard at the beginning. This doesn't even compare to pre-patch Rastakhan Rumble where if you lost control turn 1 or 2, there was literally no way to come back

posted a message on An opinion: Zephrys is inherently problematic.

The only thing wrong with it is when you've reclaimed the board from an aggro deck only for them to play zephrys and very unfairly take it back from you through shenanigans. Even then the problem is not Zeph, it's the fact that Blizzard has ruined the game for good by giving Aggro decks so much draw that there is literally no downside to being aggro now, fuck it, you can even be a singleton aggro deck because God doesn't exist

posted a message on The problem wasnt even Barnes

If they added the line "While this minion was on board" to Vargoth, it would fix a lot of the problem as well. Ressed vargoth recasting the spell is cancer

Uninstall the game and stop spreading cancer - Netdecker and aggro player gone with one sweep

posted a message on So why exactly is Blizzard working on another Dungeon Run adventure again rather than trying something new?

Why would people play tft like garbage on hearthstone rather than playing the actual garbage itself?

"Why aren't they trying something new" *Suggest idea that already exists*

posted a message on They should not nerf Control warrior because...

This expansion gave so much power to token and aggro decks again, it is pathetic that people are begging for Warrior to get nerfed when it is one of the, if not the only pure control decks still left. Warrior has way too much removal, that is true but it has almost no win condition other than outlasting you in fatigue.

posted a message on Big priest is getting out of hand

Also as a potential fix, I suggest that Vargoth be changed to so he only recasts spells that were cast while he was alive or on the board. That would mean he would not recast Shadow Essence or any of the revive cards

posted a message on Big priest is getting out of hand

People say big priest can be countered as if there is a system in the game that let's you know what deck your next opponent is playing lmao. Of course some decks counter it but maybe people don't like playing those and they're not guaranteed to always face Big Priests and their deck might be useless against other decks.

posted a message on Hilarious drawbacks from unexpected cards.

I was just testing out a version of mid-rangey Mech hunter where the two win conditions are Brann Bronzebeard into Dinotamer Brann and Corpse Widow into Mechwarper into infinite SN1P-SN4P. Now the deck is pretty bad and the games I win I usually just win thanks to getting lucky with my mechs early game and stacking up huge mechs. Thanks to Dinotamer Brann, the deck has to have no duplicates, which thanks to Hunter's great class cards is not a hard thing to achieve

The hilarity ensued, I assure you, when I went up against a murloc Paladin who went second and coined out a Fishflinger which gave me Sir Finley of the Sands which fit very well into my no duplicates deck and best of all I could already play it on turn 2 with Mecharoo already on board as well and it gave me Rogue's upgraded hero power which meant by this point the opponent was so fat behind tempo that he just conceded the following turn. It's hilarious because Fishflinger seems like such an innocent card with a drawback that you would think would not matter against any other non-murloc deck, in fact it is usually rather annoying when a non-murloc deck's hand gets polluted by a card that is most probably very useless to them.

What are some of the funniest, unintentional drawbacks from cards that you have witnessed? Think along the lines of when Bloodreaver Guldan first came out and anyone who had accidentally summoned a random Unlicensed Apothecary was surely going to kill themselves when they played the DK later on

posted a message on Zepherys missed easy lethal!

I imagine that is very difficult to code, since Avenging wrath calculates the damage after every 1 hit. So it's not just as easy as it being an 8 dmg card. It's 1 dmg done 8 times. My guess is Zepherys is not really built to consider Avenging Wrath to be an option since it would have to know that it is 1 dmg done 8 times and it is impossible to calculate where those 8 hits will land. Maybe when nothing is on board, he only sees Avenging Wrath as 1 dmg to the face

posted a message on What "perfect" card did you get from Zephrys the Great

It depends on the situation yeah. If you play it on curve on an empty board you will always get the choice of the new 3/2 Neutral Dragon legendary, Animal Companion and Wild Growth and if you play it against an opponent who has a weapon you always get Ooze and aginst taunts you get the guy who destroys taunts. So far those have been my most common choices but have also got Fireball and against a Big Priest I got Hex but the next turn he just shadow essenced into Vargoth anyway. God damn big priest.... What were we talking about? Oh yeah. definitely worth the craft, one of the best, if not the best card you can have in a no duplicates deck.
