Can someone tell me where I can report players for using bots? I'm facing the same few players that use bots (Pirate Warrior) so it's easily noticeable. It's annoying to play against them because they take forever to finish their turn and they never concede, and why should they get free gold when everyone else plays themselves. This is my first time making a thread on this site, sorry if it's in the wrong category or something.
Excuse me good sir, but what do you gain from this? Do you want to be part of Blizzard police or what?
I don't see anything wrong with getting people in trouble for blatantly violating the rules. I reported people all the time back when I played WoW when they were botting. If I have to suffer through playing these awful games manually, so do they.
I wonder why do you think player is a bot only because he don't press "end turn" button. The very aim of bot is to grind as much gold as they can in a reasonable time, so it makes no sence to create a bot which would wait until turn is over. On the other hand, there's lots of real fleshy people whose only aim is to annoy their opponent.

I know he's a bot because the behavior is absolutely the same in every match, one example is, they concede only during their turn when the bot calculates if you have lethal (and they only concede if you have enough damage to bring them down to exactly 0, if you can bring them down to 1 and they have absolutely no way to win, they will not concede), plus the dudes are online from 12 AM until at least 4-5 PM and I keep encountering them ALL THE TIME. Also if have to play 30 games a day because Blizzard is rarely rewarding F2P people, why should they have it any easier? Not to mention how annoying, un-fun and time consuming it is to play against these bots.
Anyway, thank you guys for the links and the e-mail, I have sent Blizzard a detailed message.
Read the comment above. And it's really not hard to recognize bots, just Google about it.
Yeah on the first page you can find a service offering bots that have things like variable turn time and efforts to mimic human behavior, including roping, emoting etc. People who deny the existence of bots need to get their head out of the sand. They are out there. There was even a news article last week about some people trying to make one to beat legend players.

Here's an older video that just confirms bots if anyone actually doubts they exist, the code is obviously different because nowadays they're much more realistic, but it's still hard evidence that it's a bot.
No one actually tries to deny that some of the hearthstone players may be bots. But the way of detection them suggested by topic starter is questionable. I mean, if I would create my own bot for that game the last thing I want it to do is to act suspiciously. If there are some actual bots I bet you will can never tell the difference.
I personally wouldn't report people because 1 in 5 times you're going to be wrong and gonna end up looking like an asshole.
It's not like blizzard will come after you for making a mistake. It's why they do investigations of their own when they receive a report, not just take your word for it.
I was more referring to putting a innocent player in a uncomfortable situation. I presume they suspend your account or something like that while you're under investigation.
I'm convinced that the few people I have encountered are bots, you haven't played against them over 20 times so I believe in my judgement more than yours. Like I said, google bot behaviour and the first few things you read can be applied to these few guys.
Edit: You can obviously report but it takes more than “I have faced the same person 20 times, he always plays at the same speed and he never concedes.”
Most people play at the same speed. Most people do not concede when they are high ranks.

It's not the player's job to gather evidence. If they exhibit suspicious behavior, and I think what the OP said is suspicious given how bots are evolving beyond the oldschool "play cards instantly every turn" level. Let the Blizzard investigators do their jobs, don't try and do it for them before sending in a report. They will be able to make the determination a lot faster than you can.

This is Casual we are talking about, if you play Pirate Warrior and you have no cards in hand while my board is full of demons (Renolock), and still won't concede, you're either a bot or a retard. I've faced the same few people doing the exact same suspicious things over and over again, just watch Dane's video that I have shared and you will see exactly how these few guys behave. I don't feel the need to justify myself, so I'm done with this topic, I have reported them so feel free to call me an asshole or whatever you want.

Justice Demand Retribution!
LMAO. XD
Wasn't there a way to send a ticket in the official hearthstone site?

are you 100% sure they are bots?

No evidence that it is a bot = No verdict.
