I just bought 50 Boomsday Project packs with roughly 5400 Amazon Coins on my Droid Turbo II phone. However, the game says I haven't bought any as the packs don't show up in the Packs tab. On top of that, I can actively purchase the $50 preorder a second time, as if I haven't bought it already, and my Amazon account has a measly 97 Amazon Coins left in it which was all I had left after my purchase.
Is this a bug? Am I supposed to be able to pre-purchase the same bundle multiple times? Am I not supposed to see the packs that I can't open yet in the Packs tab and is the Packs tab supposed to say 0 on the main menu screen? Or did the game just gyp me of $44 in Amazon Coins? Please quickly respond as I do want the preorder bundle which expires this Tuesday when the expansion hits and I'd rather not have to choose between paying another $44 in Amazon Coins to TRY to buy it again or skip the expansion entirely.
^^^ I just sent this to Hearthstone Bug Report forums. Is there anything else I should try in order to resolve this issue?
Your purchase has probably not gone through correctly. Blizz support are unlikely to be able to help you as they'll pass the buck to Amazon.
Amazon are your best bet to fix this, as they will have a record of them reducing your coins balance and they'll probably have logs that show that they haven't completed the transaction with Blizzard. In the UK, the relevant support team is the Kindle team (I get passed on to them after calling the main customer support line), but in the US the customer support structure might be different.
I would get on this ASAP as you'll miss out on the preorder otherwise.
Every single time this "glitch" has been reported, the cause was that the packs were bought while on a different account or server. If you have only one account, Amazon best bet for resolution.

Alright so I emailed Amazon and they responded today and decided to refund me the 5411 Amazon Coins I spent. I now spent them again on the 50 packs pre-purchase.
"Waiting for Authorization" with a blue spinning circle that never stopped after over 1 hour of waiting. Force stopped Hearthstone, opened it again, checked packs, zero. Checked the tab again and "Waiting for authorization" and the circle popped up again, except I could navigate and even exit the shop while it stayed at the forefront of my phone screen.
Zero packs waiting for me in the packs tab. All my coins gone, again. My Amazon account says the transaction happened.
Literally the same thing happened twice. This is repeatable and most definitely a bug. No transaction should take 2+ days to complete so that is not the case - the game is literally taking my coins and running.
Pretty lost as to what to do now haha. In-app purchases have never been a problem for me until now. Sent another message explaining the situation to the same customer service lady from Amazon.
Go back to amazon, get another coins refund. With Amazon CS on the phone repeat the purchase. They might be able to see whats going wrong as it happens.
If they're unable to get it working while you're on the phone, give up, buy normally through Blizz before the preorder runs out and get a USD refund on whatever coin purchase you just did. Once the preorder is gone, it's gone no matter how much you argue about it with Amazon.
EDIT: this happened to me the first couple of times I tried to buy with coins, probably TGT packs. The purchase was getting lost somewhere in Amazon's fraud prevention checks, as their checks didn't like new accounts spending 5000 coins on their first purchases.
Alright, I got another coins refund just now from Amazon. Should I uninstall/reinstall Hearthstone AND be on the phone with customer service as I purchase it?
By the way: this account has existed since before Naxxramas and I've made multiple Amazon Coins purchases on it before for extra packs but never a preorder.
I don’t think that will work as I also tried that. You can’t actually speak to anyone on the phone that is trained or has the ability to do anything about it. I spent hours trying all sorts. In the end I had to delete my amazon account and make a new one. That was a temporary fix and on Friday I managed some purchases and then it stopped.
You had the same exact issue with Amazon Coins purchases in Hearthstone as well? Is all hope lost for my coins purchase hahaha
Edit: So apparently, this exact same thing has been randomly happening to people for years. Some of them have had to wait hours in the shop until their purchase happens but apparently it eventually goes through...?
I'm just going to contact a Blizzard support staff, because it's clearly in their power to do something about this now and not Amazon's. The part of the transaction that Blizzard is supposed to authorize is just not happening.

Don't leave an amazon CS call with a blizz purchase left hanging - for me it has either worked within 2 minutes or failed completely. Get them to refund it immediately and either retry while they're on the phone or give up.
You're going to have to get those coins refunded. If you really want the preorder. I would just buy through blizz and accept you wont get the coins discount this time.
Purchased again with a Blizzard employee on the line. Basically he had me log out, restart my phone and log back into my account.
Immediately after purchasing, it disconnected me. When I reconnected it treated me like I had never played the game before - year of the Raven switch, Standard and Wild explanantion, you can play against expert opponents in Solo adventures, etc. I played 3 games on this account yesterday. I've been playing on it for 4 years.
Checked the shop; Amazon Coins were spent. No sign of packs or other sign purchase of the bundle whatsoever except again of course my Amazon account order history.
The Hearthstone representative confirmed that it was a problem on Amazon's end. He told me I might not be able to purchase the pre-order with Amazon Coins.
Boycott Amazon. I'm at that point right now where I'm willing to tell people that.
I wouldn't like my coins back at all anymore. They can keep them for all I care. I'll send them one extremely nasty email and then call it a day. If they want to give me the coins back out of spite then that's whatever.
I did try to warn you :(. I wouldn’t bother anymore either but when buying in bulk it just feels like you aren’t missing out on money you are missing out on packs and as it’s addictive you want as many as you can get.
I freaking expect as much as I ordered originally 3 days ago, which just so happens to be 50 Boomsday packs plus a random legendary plus a cardback. This has nothing to do with want.

I had a similar issue last week, tried to purchease the mega bundle through my phone (as my google store prices are cheaper both on US dollars and amazon coins) and I got the succesful message I usuaally get with every purchease but then HS crashed and when I launched it again I had no packs, tried force closing it and launching it again with no success so contacted blizzard and the dude told me there's nothing they could do cause the transaction was done through google so I contacted them and they told me I could either refund and try to purchease again or go an talk to blizzard again, did so and told them thar I was not interested on a refund, I obviously wanted my packs and the second dude told me that I needed to wait for 72 hours (It had been 28 at that point) and if after that I still had no packs then they could push the packs and mechajaraxxus stuff into my game if I could provide them with pictures of my google store receipt and that they may or may not need a pic of my credit's card transaction history (The purchease was also stated as confirmed on there).
After all that the dude told me to log out of my account (HS account) on my phone, turn my phone off, back on and then log back in. That actually ended up working so you should definitely try that one, just log off, reset your phone and log back in, if that doesn't work then you might be having a serious issue and should talk to blizzard's CS... As your initial post was 2 days ago I would guess you're close to the 72 hours mark so keep all receipts and proofs of your purchease at hand and tell them you already did the troubleshooting for phone purcheases before contacting them (Which is the wait 72hours and reset phone/log off and on stuff I told you) and they should be able to push the items into your account if everything's in order (Which looks like it is according to what you say). I'm not sure if it's something that they can do instantly but hey even if you have to wait it's obviously better than plain out losing your money.
If your purchease is going through and you have a proof of it with not just not having the coins anymore but also have some sort of receipt or orders history or whatever it's called on amazon then the issue is not on Amazon's side cause the transaction is clearly being processed on their end, if you did the troubleshooting and tried to purchease multiple times then it's all Blizz's fault, don't let them scamm you, call or write as many times as you can, ask for a supervisor if the dude on the phone/chat is not helping you but if you can prove them that the transaction is working on all ends but theirs then they have, they MUST, either send you the packs through a B.Net gift or just push them into your account somehow, keep fighting man, 50 bucks are 50 bucks and you'll be as salty as the sea tomorrow if you lose your pack and your money.
After a long chat with an Amazon employee that definitely doesn't live in America I had my Boomsday Pack purchase refunded with Amazon Coins for a third time, then the 5500 ($46.35) worth of Amazon Coins that I bought to purchase the Boomsday Pack refunded to my bank account.

Thanks for suggesting sending the report to Amazon! Hopefully they'll take care of it Monday.
As a side note, has anyone had this issue before with pack purchases, Amazon Coins and preorder preorder package or otherwise?

And I'm waiting for authorization...again...
and it's taken 10 minutes so far.....
But but it’s cheaper lol do what the above post just by bundle normally.
Spent the refunded tokens.

If you can get a reciept from amazon contact Blizz and they might be able to help you from there since have proof it was purchased.

Enjoying my life as F2P
I'm buying packs with coins for a whole now... I once bought for wrong server (NA instead of EU)... You got it right? ^^

Not associated in any way whatsoever other servers, by the way, and I bought them through my active account. This is entirely Amazon's fault.
