Step 2: fire everyone who made those cards and hire people who THOROUGHLY test cards before printing them.
Would you expect to be fired from your job if you did a couple of things wrong or that didn't succeed? Why call for devs to be fired, most of the cards they release aren't a problem. There's no pleasing people like you and you'll find cards to complain about no matter what.
Have you never worked before? Of course you can get fired if you fail at your job. People have gotten fired for far less. If you think I'm the only one complaining about how they care more about selling expansions than making a good game, you clearly haven't been here long.
Bullshit. The decks they are playing do not need practice. You don't need to practice to know to play call to arms on 4 or summoner or lackey+pact on 6 or to umbra+cube your doomguard as soon as you can. The top tier decks play themselves.
Sure keep telling yourself that. Everyone who plays good decks is an unskilled idiot who just drags the green cards onto the table and people who play decks that have no chance of winning are smarter and have a more valid enjoyment of the game.

Exactly, I'm glad you've come around and understand now.

Yes I have worked before, and I've both had success and made mistakes working on multibillion dollar construction projects. Employees don't get fired for every mistake they make because when you're hired for a job in a specialized field, your expertise is valuable and hard to replace. And no one would want to work in a place where everyone gets fired once they mess up, they'd find other jobs are a better company. You have an unrealistic view of how the world works.
And believe me I've been here long enough to know that people complain, most of their complaints aren't valid or well thought out and I made an account to make fun of those people.
Your solution is bad and way to restrictive. You might as well just find a new game since you're basically saying that you hate how your favorite game mode is played. Honestly if you hate net-decking so much that you want to suggest a system that forces players to play sub-optimally and not play to win, then you are literally killing the mode you want to save.
If the point is that you wan't to play against fresh decks every time, then you are hard pressed to find anyway to guarantee that. Players like to win, and as long as that's true, the nature of fun and fresh decks will always take a backseat.

Moral of the story, human beings are garbage so there’s no point in making the game more enjoyable. They shouldn’t nerf cards either right? Just keep every card extremely strong so the point is only to win and not have fun!
People are more frustrated with the fact that you are actively punished by the game designers for playing experimental decks. Like I said, if the developers focused more on making a good successful game rather than just a successful game, everybody would win - the creative people would win, the netdeck people would just copy them and also win. The deck itself is never fun to play if it never wins. People don't seem to grasp this. A deck that wins 15% of the time is not fun unless you are solely trying to make a youtube highlight video.
Is it so much to ask to allow more variety in deckbuilding so that there are more than 1-2 decks per class that you can expect to win more than 50% with?

Funny how ppl always argue about human beeings if somethin dont go the way they like it. Its a fkn card game if u like to play ur shitty decks do it noone will complain about it nor open a thread how bad the world is because noone wants to play the same shitty decks as you. And u dont care about what decks u are facing, the true point is u dont wanna lose just be honest to ur self and stop u salty rant.
Beside of that if u make a mode where u cant complete quest nor gettin gold, have fun on your 15-20 min queue time and playin against the same 10 ppl over and over again (which also result in playin against the same decks over and over again)
Never said the only point to play is to win, I said that players LIKE to win. Players aren't unfeeling, they speak out and call for changes just like you are. You have to create a valid -playing field where balance and enjoyable gameplay can have an equilibrium.
Moral of the story? Saying that being competitive and playing to win makes you a garbage human being? In what world do you live in? Sorry that you don't enjoy a competitive setting, but that doesn't mean that everyone hates it.
I hear this complaint far too often. There's no reason that two different modes should be seeing the same decks played. At this point, Casual should just be remade into another mode that forces players to run different decks. For instance:
Classic Mode: Players are limited to only using Basic, Classic, and Hall of Fame cards. The true vanilla experience.
Pauper Mode: Players are limited to only using Basic, Common, and Rare cards. Not a lot of time and/or money invested? No problem.
I really like this idea especially the pauper mode. Would be really fun in my opinion.
For OP
I dont get why you would b***h and moan about a mode called casual..... people will do what they want. I remember when i first started i used casual for gold and quests because my collection wasnt good enough to be competitive in ranked and ranked honestly gave me a bit of anxiety because of how much better other peoples decks were.
If you are nerd raging because somebody tried to win against you in a competitive game that is pathetic. You are probably one of those people that invites people that beat you, flames them in 1-2 sentences for playing X deck and having no skill, then deletes them before they can respond.
Just because YOU only use it to play "troll" decks doesn't mean other people dont use it as their primary source of bringing in wins for gold.
Yo.. shuuuut uuuup bro. You contribute jack to this community by being an a**.
and people crying and bitching all around this site contribute so much more right? nah, i'll take being an ass any time of the week instead of bitching. this place is full of childish people(or actual kids) that feel so entitled to everything being the way they want it to be. here this guy is bitching about casual, a mode with no ranks, no meaningful rewards etc. And cries about netdecks. There are so many more card games out there, he can go play them instead if he doesnt like this one. He will not be missed. Thank god i didnt even read past the title, because from other comments the solutions he proposed must be fucking idiotic.
Anyway i explained to you why i am trolling/flaming (dont even know what its called) and i wont stop doing it because people are asking for it everywhere in this site. Have fun, like i will continue doing with guys like these :D
Might as well not have a forum or start any discussions. CLOSE HEARTHPWN DOWN GUYS! who cares about input if the only thing that matters is CRAAAANNKING DAT RANKKK.

A deck that wins 15% of the time will be garbage even if you delete all the tier 1-3 decks from the game, the problem is the deck not the opponents.
I would even say that you can choose any class and any (reasonable) theme and build a tier 3-4 deck with decent winrates.

It was hyperbole. Even a deck that wins 40% of the time is not fun. A good portion of the cards printed are utterly useless in any deck that wants to break that threshold. If you are going to print fun/wacky cards at least make it so they can hypothetically work, otherwise why print them at all?
The amount of boring people is astounding. F*ck me for suggesting a way to spice the game up a bit. People hate change and are boring as sh*t that’s all I’ve learned from creating this thread.
Why would they remove custom decks? Are you stupid? The whole point of a card game is to collect cards and make your own deck
The friends list exists for a reason. Go play whacky decks and have fun without facing “cancer” decks :)

PLAY BAD DECKS
EXPECT TO GET SHAFTED
Such a trash attitude
