Last month I posted a thread in regards to, "how am no longer having fun" but. To be honest, I am really having a hard time winning in this new update. I can't get past rank 17th. I would normally get to Rank 15th and the lowers would be the 5th rank. In the witchwood update, I get my ass-kick by almost every deck/class. I try building my own deck and using the deck builder here and another deck I find on the website. for some reason, I can't get a winning streak to get past rank 17th. I keep facing PALADIN, WARLOCK, AND PRIEST (I lose all the time). Should I stop playing, or change my playing style, etc. The game is no longer fun when every day you're losing more than your winning. Feels like there no progressing for me at all.
I'd say take a break, come back fresh. Also, make sure you are rested and feeling sharp when you go to play if you want to win.
Play the meta. If you face Paladin Warlock and priest constantly, research the meta and find out what are good counters to one or more of those decks. Silence is very good against warlock. Area damage is good against paladin, and burst damage is good against priest (at least the sorts we see currently).
You won't find any decks good against all of them though. Personally, I'm finding I do better with control strategies this season rather than agro, with merloc paladin being the one exception. It always seems to work for me.
Finally, part of it is getting to know the decks you are up against and what weaknesses and strengths they have. A new season always brings the need to adapt your thinking.

I started to like it, after some time. Did not like it at all at first, but even though there are like 3 classes dominating the meta, I find it extremely good, and not even nearly as cancerous as before.
Game did become boring though after 4 years, at least for me, but that's another story.
The important thing is to know the deck you're playing, the deck your opponent is playing, how you both plan to win, and how best to stop your opponent from winning. If you are playing miracle rogue and you're versing a druid you can immediately make some deductions. He is probably playing a hadronox druid or spiteful druid. In the case of hadronox druid, he will outvalue you late game and because of that, you can't let it get into the lategame phase. Instead, you need to push damage, save your saps for lethal, and pressure him into making mistakes. In the case of spiteful druid, they aim to kill you through sheer value especially midgame. In this case, it's often just a matter of saving your Vilespine Slayer and/or Sap to deal with whatever nonsense they throw down turn 5/6.
Essentially, you need to know the meta, the popular decks, what to expect, and how to play around it, rather than just playing curvestone like 98% of the meta.
Hello everyone,

Thank you, any help would be great guys.

Play Spiteful Druid. I jumped one rank already this morning.

I'm tired about Standard's repetitive experience, now I'm only playing Wild.
I've created a Mill Warrior with Yogg and Elise Starseeker. It's pretty fun and I have 58-60% winrate with it in rank 9-4.
Now I want to create a C'thun Priest with Shadowreaper Anduin.
Wild is just fresh, sometimes I face against really creative decks, that I've never seen before.
I highly recommend it, much better than Standard.
