The deck that can beat cubelock most consistently while beeing good enough vs the rest. Maybe its Control mage time, the deck benefits greatly from Raza nerf, can easily beat 1 mana HP Anduin maybe techs in harrison polymorphs to beat warlock if warlock is like 90% of ladder.
I know, that it's early to ask, as the patch came in just a few hours ago, but what is your experience on the ladder atm? What decks are you experimenting on and trying to revive? Can we spam here more, in order to reflect how the meta changes? I really want to see, if I was way too optimistic with this thread or if the meta will really prove to be fun for (almost) all to enjoy.
And let's try to be more constructive with the posts, thank you.
i have play abaout 15 games in rank 5 so far 1 quest rogue, 1 miracle rogue, 1 quest druid, 1aggro druid, 2 tempo mage, and over 10 warlocks. so in rank 5 it's really look in warclockstone right now.

Imho that's because it's the obvious deck. I personally think, that in a day or two people will play the decks, which counter control and cubelock, i.e. we will see many combo ones, which were hindered by the presence of aggro pre-nerf and will burn/fatigue the slow warlock decks. Examples I can think of are - quest mage, mill rogue, combo priest, then probably tempo mage and possibly quest rogue??? Dunno about you, I will let the meta and people's creativity surprise me.

Sounds like a VAST improvement compared to prieststone to me :)
Secret Mage. Secret Mage will be even more everywhere and successful than it is now.
Cubelock isn't going to run all over ladder. I don't think. It will never be more of ladder than Raza Priest was at its height. Which, I don't feel like I saw THAT much. Even when I saw it more than ever.
Cubelock is crazy ass expensive.
Makes really long ass games.
& is pretty difficult to play successfully.
Those are not qualities that make a Hearthstone spam deck.
Been playing games since I got home and found that I've been going against a delightful variety of decks so far. I think it's the honeymoon phase here but people are trying a lot of different decks that were not working before. Personally having an odd amount of success with Pirate/Rogue/Kingsbane build. Captain Greenskin has been kind of wonderful. And I've been pretty happy with vanishing a OP'd cubelock board so I can swing face for the win.

1) Gratz for your success.
2) If you ask me, yeah, I also think it's the honeymoon period, full of experimentation and "a delightful variety of decks", but I think it's a kinda temporary, as the meta will settle once again. In a week or two the figured out dominant decks will appear on the meta tier lists from popular sites, people will play them more in order to have success etc etc. But despite that imho the play experience won't be dulled, because:
- the feel of staleness won't last long, as this expansion and game year will only last 2 months (or less) - (kinda the same as above) a new expansion and rotation are just around the corner, meaning yet another honeymoon period, this time however with an even more fresh experience, as new cards will get introduced.
So I'm glad to hear you are having fun on the ladder, I don't know how optimistic or naive I was with the title, but I agree, we are facing fun times atm.

Kinda reviving the thread for a bit:

Control Warrior will comeback. With 1 DMH it eat Control Mage for breakfast. Only auto lóse is Controllock with Rin.
