Imo, RNG is not working like the way it's called. I was at Rank 1 2 Stars and on the verge of getting Legend for the 1st time ever. Then the losing streak happened. I lost to a Priest with exact topdeck counter from turn 3 to turn 6. Then turn 8, topdeck a healing for 12 at 4 health. I started to realize that if I lose, I should stop playing. I took a rest, then the next morning, I ran into a rogue and 2 Priest with nearly perfect counters to my play. I cannot do anything. Down to 2. Then 3. I know that misplays also occurs. But I carefully planned my moves and still wrecked by luck. So disappointed. Then I watch the stream from other players. They play pw post-nerf and still got legend? Am I that unlucky? Maybe I should stop playing for a while. Go back to my DOTA then.
RNG isnt fixed. Brode giveth and brode taketh. Plus, according to statistics, if you had a fat winstreak to 1 you should lose a lot of games to even it out.
No, having the name random number generator usually means random. You probably feel hard done by when you lose games because people never lose games due to a lack of skill, just the opponent being lucky but trust me you probably do the same to opponents. Hence 'random'. But woe is me.

There are no win streak rewards after rank 5.
OP, you just need some perspective. How could the game be fixed? And why? It would mean that your opponent was somehow designated to advance and you to regress, what would be the point of such a system?
I get that it feels batman when your opponent gets lucky. I even quit playing shaman because I consistently low roll every random effect when I do play it. But if you think it through, you get that there's no way the game could be rigged. It would be impractical and pointless.
Its the only reason im not playing hunter after "face hunter" meta.Back at naxxramas.Even when i go with 6 or 8 1 drops i never seem to draw them, and i end up with 3 mana card in my hand. Its the most weird thing to me,its like hunter doesnt want me to play that class. And my draws are fine with every other class.
Threads like this about rigged RNG make me cry. Do you really think there is some conspiracy to make you not reach legendary or that they let others get there?
Simple fact is the higher you get the more likely you are to run into people that actually out play you and just make it seem like they have the answers. Yes bad RNG happens but it's human nature to only notice the bad and not the good. This is a welll know phenomena know as Confirmation Bias. It's the "why am I always getting stuck behind a tractor when I'm late" thought.
What's also likely happening is as you get close to your goal you get nervous (maybe subconsciously) you make faster plays, you don't think through your turns as much, you make misplays that aren't as obvious as normal to you, you don't play around that potion of madness or that dragon fire potion that maybe you normal would. You feel you've been unlucky and the next game you are tilted and make worse decisions.
This is exactly what happened to me this month. I hit rank 1, 5 stars and got unlucky in the last game. Got tilted and dropped slowly out of frustration all the way to rank 5. As much as I felt like I was getting shit on with bad luck deep down I know I wasn't playing well. I made it back to rank 1 and it took me another 7 attempts at the 'final boss'. But finally made it. Once I relaxed at legend I went on a win streak up 2000 places because I was actually making better plays and I could feel it.
