Please use your promotional art for both images and fix the text alignment on that Hero Power. I mean, this took me 5 minutes to edit. How easy would it be for you? (Edit: I restored the original stats so that the art is the only change.) This helps players visualize what we could have instead.
UPDATE (7/29): Alright, I didn't think it would go this far, but even after showing the alternative Blizzard art above, some fans still think the original art is good. Meanwhile, most fans think it's bad but have a hard time explaining WHY. I'm a visual artist and made this very basic (~30 min.) edit to explain why.
#1: Lacks contrast, sharpness in top half. The crystals are lost in the hair, which is lost in the background. The pink streak is also pastel, which makes that area a grayish blur. Suggestions: Darken the background. Darken/sharpen the hair for volume/texture. Darken/sharpen the crystal edges. Change the saturation/hue from pink to magenta/violet streak. Whiten the eyes. Add thin highlights on the armor/blade for metallic sharpness.
#2: Spine misaligned. If you draw a vertical line through her spine, Jaina's head is dislocated to the left. I get that she's undead or whatever, but that's pushing anatomy. Suggestions: Move her head right and a bit down. Shrink her shoulder pauldron, shorten the chest line, and trim the chest piece at bottom-left to match. Ideally, shift the whole image left to center her face. However, I wasn't able to do this step without material beyond the frame.
Most prefer the promotional style, some prefer the original style. Sure, sure. My point with this edit is to show that even with the original style, improvements could be made to match Blizzard's usual high-contrast, high-sharpness, spine-aligned style. What do you think?
Can we form a petition somehow? I have 1500+ mage wins (plus Legend rank) and really want to play with this, but the art is so bad. Same reason I don't include Holy Fire in Priest.
The real value of this card is 8 mana imagine it like call of the wild how it is bad to play at turn 9 but it was so op at 7 mana so a single mana makes this impossible to play
I might be able to get behind art changes, but let's please not try to fix cards mechanically before we've even had a chance to play them. Anyone remember quest rogue? Almost everyone was convinced it was garbage, I even saw people trying to 'Fix' it.
What's the point of adding a frost elemental to your hand? It seems like you just knew it was too powerful at 6 so you threw it in the hand. I can't say how good Frost Lich Jaina is compared to other mage archetypes but I do know that mage has the tools to get to turn 9 and play this card while playing elementals and using burn to remove minions. I actually think people are undervaluing how strong this card is.
It probably cost 9 also to avoid a turn 10 with this and immediate use of the Hero Power that could lead to a second elemental on the board, imho.
But anyway let's wait to see how cards will find their spot into the meta before "fixing" them. Before Un'goro someone would have "fixed" Rogue's Quest because it was seen as weak.

A turn 8 version would be fine IMO, it would only just make it slightly more playable. Either it is or it isn't, if things are slow enough then it will be a strong finisher, but then again so is Pyroblast.

They are the evident things i see in 5 minute so blizzard i hyped crazy when i see undead knights consept and this expansion is focusing the undead knights but you give us this mother... Maybe my expectation level is very high so i became disspointed that much. Please for the love of card god think again do the right think like proma art designer did. : / .
idk why so many people seem to be on the same page about her original art looking bad, i just don't see whats so bad about it. She looks cool, she looks evil, she looks dead, what more do u need

I rly like the Art you picked. I hope Blizzard is gonna change this.
But having access to that hero power in turn 7 seems way too strong.
