So it has been alluded to that Team 5 is working on more cards for a pack expansion. So here is the question. What are your hopes. What cards do you want to see in the game.
Below is my list of things I would love to see, please add to the list.
Neutral Anti secret options. Like a acidic swamp ooze for secrets.
MORE MURLOCS
More dragons
Minions that cant be attacked by minions but only dealt with by spells.
Spell redirects or spell taunts.(though not to many as this would break the game)
Minions with 'leave the battlefield' mechanics would be neat. Sort of a stronger deathrattle because you could use cards like Sap or Youthful Brewmaster to interact with them.
I totally agree that more race synergy would be awesome. I don't expect this in the next expansion, but a second set of class legendaries would be cool. I'm sure the players would appreciate some of their card ideas being implemented. I also feel that having secrets in other classes would be conceivable.
What I want to see, and have done since Beta, is a new class - or 2, new backdrops, maybe a specific one for each class and if you're going first you're at 'Home' on your hero's ground.
Answers to secrets, or maybe a card for each class or even neutral cards that are " Flare "-like. Because aren't the huntards too OP and broken as it is??
i dont think new classes will ever be added. the cardpool is already fragmented into 9 classes + neutral, that is enough. it is more likely that they will give us new heros with new hero powers that use the cardpool of existing classes, like a second hunter and a second mage and so on.

Looks like all of my wants have been covered already. My main ones being: more Deathrattle interaction cards (counters), and more theme cards (Pirates, Dragons, etc).
I don't see how adding new heros would be all that complicated tbh.
But hey, it's all opinion, and like you say, will never happen anyway! But I've wanted new classes since Beta, 9 is not all that varied, especially if you never play 3 of them. I don't just want them to play, but to play against. It's far too limited as is IMO. Every class you face, you know what moves are coming, usually. And a lot of times it's down to rng.
I would love the packs to cost like Expert packs 100 gold - not more!
Weapons for all classes - wands for mage and so on :)
More fun cards. New murloc would be cool :)
I truly hope they have independent expansion packs but I more or less feel like they will only have expansion specific packs in the beginning but most likely will just mix the expansion into the general card pool after about a month or so........./sigh......

More game mechanics, More cards that aren't simply reskins of other cards that are the same with different stats. I want less of "1/1 with Divine Shield for 1, 3/1 with Divine Shield for 3, 3/3 with Divine Shield for 4", I want more cards to let deck creativitiy flow(an example of this is Baron Rivendare). When I see Baron Rivendare, I think "wow, I wanna build a deck around that", Blood Knight is another example, Blood Knight makes me wanna put a bunch of Divine Shield in a deck and build a deck around having those Divine Shields as well, where as carbon copies I find uninteresting. I also want more a little more Overload for Shaman(strike a balance though, putting too much in could have severe consequences) so that I can make a deck around the guy that gains +1/+1 whenever I play a card with Overload.

the new card expansion is probably like 8$ for 10 cards, 50$ for all

Something to make the dragon tag relevant.
More hunter and pally secrets.
More healing and synergy.
Neutral weapons.
A second legendary for each class.
The rest of my hopes and dreams are for existing cards and cards that would require a new adventure, not just an expansion.
The new card expansion will be card packs exactly how they are now.

A couple of bigger murlocs, they are dead atm.
Wands for mages please!! Spell-damage ones would be neat.
Minions immune to battlecry effects.
A minion preventing all deathrattles while on the board.
More pirates, especially a big 6+ drop, maybe even a llegendary porate ship ship as a 9 or 10 drop.
A minion turning deathrattles to the opposite player.
More fun-cards, with crazy effects like choo and tinkmaster.

Weapons with spelldamage + 1.
I could only see that if it was an x/2 +1spell dmg weapon that said "remove one durability each time a spell is cast
