Its just you, i ordered the first week it was available.... what cards there is in the expansion is irrelevant. There´s only one question you have to ask yourself, will i continue playing hearthstone? If yes > Preorder packs.

When the next expansion was revealed I started to gather gold and expected to pre-order almost right away. Instead I have deleted Hearthstone for a while and waiting to install the game until I find some motivation to play the game again. The big killer for me is the Jade mechanic. I do not think it is insanely broken as it has some obvious weaknesses, I just think it is mindblowingly boring to play against - especially as a Priest player.
I also fear that Priest will be tier trash again because the dragons are leaving the standard and it seems they will push some sort of Nzoth Priest which will struggle against PW and Jades.
I like HS a lot but Pirates and Jades just killed it for me.

No, I won't. I really like a lot of aspects of the game, but it just becomes more clear that I don't share a lot of blizzards design philosophy. The inelegant jade mechanic and what seems to be a complete lack of understanding regarding tempo makes me doubtful of whether blizzard will be able to make this game good again.
So yeah, the cards getting revealed will have to be impressive for me to spend money. Otherwise I'll probably just play arena in the future. I honestly can't come up with any good argument for paying for a product you haven't seen yet, when you actually have the chance to choose after you've seen it. Just seems irresponsible.

That's silly. Many of us have lots of gold to blow. Besides, the meta sucks and if it doesn't change much then why preorder anything? Just play wild mode where there are a zillion cards and deck choices. Do as you wish but don't make it seem like using real money is paramount to being able to play this game. It certainly isn't.

Well, your logic is not applicable to everyone. If most of the cards are "shit", then it's better to just open packs with the gold you have and craft the worthy cards with the dust you got. We are getting 3.5k dust with the rotation, so that's a big plus :) I bought the last preorder, and once more Un'Goro cards are revealed, if it's worth it, then I'll most definitely be getting the preorder :) If not, then the 30+ packs that am going to open with gold and the 7k dust I'll have then, it'll be more than enough to get the worthy cards :)

How so? I had 6000 gold at the start of mean streets and I managed just fine. There are only a few cards every expansion that you actually need to play.
Edit: needless to say, I need to see a bunch of fun unique cards that are also at the same time not total shit before I even consider preordering.

wait what? 3k5 dust after rotation? why?
Yeah, sorry, that's only if you have Sylvanas, Ragnaros, 2x Azure Drakes, and the other cards that are moving to Hall of Fame :) As of right now, I have 3.5k dust. Once the rotation hits, I'll have close to 7k dust :)

Oh ya i was speaking from a casual players perspective (thats me),i rarely have more then about 1000 gold on my account since i buy arena and packs contentiously and i usually only play enough to do the quests every three days so for me the extra value of the preorder packs will be worth it even if it only means some extra dust in the chamber. (I´m a sucker for shinies too so i crafted Golden Rag + Sylvanas and all the commons so i too have some dust incoming).

Well, Blizzard is going to reveal a bunch of cards tomorrow so we'll at least know what to expect.

I win due to skill and lose due to bad RNG. :D
I will probably wait on packs until I can score some amazon coins for cheap, then go that route. Plenty of dust right now for crafting
